I remember borrowing this from my local public library during the pandemic, early 2021 if I'm correct, as a film noir double-feature DVD; it was paired with Crime Wave 1953 (surprised to see a young Charles Bronson looking very athletic.) According to the library info the DVD itself came out in 2007 (from Warner Archives) . Outrageous plot? You bet! And yes Jean Gillie is an instant favorite top femme fatale.
