I just received a decant sampler of Noir D' Arabia, I usually just blind buy the clones, but I wasn't sure about this one because the notes are similar to what I have already in other frags, I am glad I got a decant, and not the whole bottle, not because of how it smells, it smells wonderful, I love the smell, the problem is it's kind of redundant to what I have on hand. Oud, Saffron, Rose vanilla with something sweet, this combination, I have in, two other clones, Golden Oud by Asdaaf (lancome - Oud Bouquet), and 9th Avenue, (Bond #9 - Nomad) yes each have a slight variation or twist that differs a bit, Noir' D Arabia, I am surprised how similar it is to my Golden Oud, 9Th Ave, has fruits up top and powdery note, which makes it my favorite, anyway, the Noir D' Arabia, is a good one to get if you don't have any of these oud/rose/saffron/vanilla DNA frags. it's sweet, and smoky/woody, with rose.

Well said. I found a fragrance swap and trade site on Facebook I’m looking into thinning out some of my redundant items as well.

@@TheTriedTruth When one first starts collecting, you are pretty safe doing blind buys, because you can do research on what is good, etc. and there is little chance that it will be redundant, but as your collection grows, the chances that something is very similar to what you already have increases. So now it's becoming trickier to find something unique smelling, >and< also something I like. the last unique acquisition, was "Atlas" by Lattafa, I doubt anyone has something that smells like that one, unless they have the OG (Megamare) or another clone of that frag. not for everyone, but I do like it immensely. I have thinned a bit, usually just donating, giving away, never done the trade thing, but I might do that.

@@TheTriedTruth I believe that "replica" should have made this fragrance, its a realistic oceanic fragrance, I am going to borrow the line I read on fragantica, it smells like a rusty anchor on the bottom of the Marianna trench. lol, ok its smells like the beach/ocean, but in a good way. (Well, I like it, but may not be everyone's cup of seawater) , frankly its very nice and I got compliments wearing it, I have only worn it once, but will be using it a lot more when weather warms up, I have learned to let Lattafa frags macerate, they always seem to improve on me. it's not a beast like I have heard about the OG. but did last a good 7 hours on skin, over 10 on clothes.

@@TheTriedTruth I changed my mind, after trying the decant of Noir D'Arabians, I find it is different enough, and merits buying the whole bottle, what I noticed was that it has chocolaty note, I assume its from the Tonka. the rose is not forward. performance is very good, there was only a little left in my tiny decant, two mini sprays on each sleeve of my shirt, and I could smell it on me the whole day, I can smell it now, 12 hours later, close scent bubble around me. Anyway I saw it on Amazon, for 25 bucks or something, I could not pass.

I've never smelt Arabian Tonka. But I have the pendora scents noir d'arabia. Let the noir d'arabia sit for a few weeks after the initial spraying and the opening gets much smoother

I haven’t opened it since I made this video,I’ll let you know.

Thanks this was helpful. I'm gonna try to order it now. Same here. I love montale fragrances. The first time I ever smelled a montale fragrance was intense cafe on my friend and I was mesmerized! Lol

Pure Tonka is about $75-85 on discounters and Pendora Noir De Arabie is $40-50, i will save for the Montale.

Hello perfume friend, how close is it to the original in %? How many hours does it last? Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
@TheTriedTruth Жыл бұрын
“Hello Germany” It’s very close in scent profile. D’ARABIE trails in quality and smoothness but only slightly. Lasts 8hrs + But Arabians Tonak’s lasts 12to 24hours Overall as I said in the review The DArabie is a great buy and a high quality pick up at the 40.00 price tag And I feel it is a great addition to anyone’s fragrance wardrobe But not as good as Arabians Tonka

it doesnt perform well in my opinion. pretty weak fragrance or it has to macerate.. i dunno

I know what you mean, I am going to crack it open,have been resting it since this video. Hopefully it’s better. But the OG never disappoints.
