Noir De Noir vs Club De Nuit Intense Women
Kara the Frag Hag and I discuss the differences between Tom Ford's Noir de Noir with Armaf's Club De Nuit Intense For Women. There are certainly similarities but there are major differences between these two fragrances. Noir de Noir is a classic dark, gothic, creamy, chocolatey rose fragrance from the Tom Ford Private Blend collection and it's one of my all time favorite rose scents. I absolutely love it. So comparing something that's supposed to be similar can be a bit difficult.
I have to be honest when I first obtained Armaf's Club De Nuit Intense For Women I sprayed it and thought yes this does smell like Noir de Noir or NDN as we call it in the fragrance community. But Armaf's Club De Nuit Intense For Women is not Noir de Noir. It does have a bit of a cheapness to it something very metallic.
I'm happy to finally discover the Armaf brand and will be exploring more from this brand which from my little research I'm discovering they have some decent clones of very popular and expensive fragrances. Such as Club De Nuit Intense For Men which is a Creed Aventus clone. And speaking of metallic earlier I noticed a lot more metallic touches in Armaf's Club De Nuit Intense For Men than the Club De Nuit Intense For Women but I noticed it in the women's edition as well. And metallic fragrances tend to just not work for me and I'm sure it's similar with some of you out there as well.

Aw man. I completely disagree. I think Armaf nailed it. Noir de noir is my absolute favorite scent ever. But am I going to pay for it when there's a fragrance 97% identical for 20 bucks? No, sorry. I am also making this my new favorite because I am extremely impressed with how close they got.

Also, I'm shocked that you would say that this smells "cheap". Its under 30 bucks. Its not going to have the finest ingredients. But this is the most expensive smelling dirt-cheap cheapie I've ever put my nose on. Its unfair to not keep in mind the price. Thats why we have clones. Its very similar and does not by any means smell cheap. This video came of a little snobbish to me..

Reviewers always talk a big game when they compare the original to the clone. They always talk about these subtle but obvious nuances between the real and the clone. If you are sure that the difference is obvious, then do a blind sniff test. Put your money where your mouth is. Not just with 2 strips where you have a 50% of getting it right. Do it right with 10+ strips.

I own both the fragrances and I think Club De Nuit Intense (for woman) is a very elegant perfume with a unique fragrance. Why unnecessarily compare it to Tom Ford! I am sure the intent was not to make a cheap imitation.

The noir de noir that i smell and know don't last much... actually the armaf one last for ever, specially on paper and clothes. On the skin it doesn't last all day, but it last way more then noir de noir. I agree that that have some differences, ndn is has more a chocolat and musg vibe while cdniw has patchouli and vanilla swetness. Besides that they are really similar and it doesn't smell cheap.

Yes, I have been wearing it for almost a year, I sprayed it on a jacket that I kept at work through the cold season, several weeks later my co-teacher and I were cleaning our classroom, when she moved my jacket she said, "Your jacket smells SOOO good!" I can always smell it on my skin the next day, in fact, I wore it to work one day and went home early, sick as a dog, couldn't get out of bet for 2 more days and could still smell it until I felt well enough to get into the shower. For me it has beast longevity. I have never smelled Noir De Noir, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I get compliments on it frequently and that's goo enough for me.

I think a lot of you guys review fragrances based on price and the name behind it.Most Tom Ford fragrance lacks longevity and appeal,take away the name and the price most Tom Ford fragrances would perish on store shelves.OVERATED JUST LIKE THE HOUSE OF CREED!

I'd be more curious to have her smell both scents on your arm and ask which is the more expensive frag...Smelling these two scents on paper is a lot different than a comparison on skin...I found that on my skin the difference wasn't as pronounced...

This is why I enjoy reading all the KZbin comments. Some great points are being made here. It might be true that testing on paper might be accurate, but there are a number of scents that smell differently on my skin than they do from the bottle. It seems she felt the CDNI Women scent was gone minutes after the video started. It would have been interesting to see their reaction when sprayed on each arm - and an hour later when the top notes faded.

I have both and I agree 100%. They are close about 90% the first hour then their difference increase as time goes on. But i do love clones and would recommend it to someone on a budget who would like to get the "feeling" of NDN

I heard people say that the dry down of CNI starts smelling a lot like noir de noir.. I haven't tried noir de nior so i have no idea. Is noir de noir very feminine? Club nuit intense for women smelled very feminine to me in the beginning... but than dried down to smell better.. Still overall a little too fem of a fragrance for me.. I think Armarf did the right thing marketing it as a women's fragrance.

I sprayed it in the room on my wrist hours later cam in the room and it sure smells like womens but on my wrist smells like chocolate rose but it screams feminine with armas. However it’s a couple notes higher than nena. I bought the Armaf but I’ll go through the bottle and then I’ll go back to ndn. Not bad though but you can sure tell if your the other person not wearing it and you go into the room with first reactions.

+E Georges seems like the newer bottles are weaker than the ones that first came out. Very typical tactic of fragrance houses to dillute the fragrance once they get hyped up and popular.

So agreed on club de nuit men vs avenues, i think they r so different club de nuit has very synthetic citrusy opening and metallic dry down. Not a fan. So far only love Alexanria for a good quality of clones. Good quality juice

I got a great performance with Armaf’s version,and i think it’s a great alternative,as i don’t want to spend a lot more for TF.Bottle is awfull,but who cares,I won’t be hanging it around my neck,while wearing the perfume,and only(if),a true afficionado will notice the difference while wearing one of those two.

I love Armaf CDNI for woman, I do not get the rose but do get the nutmeg, and lots of Honey and cardamon, reminds for of. The Nutmeg Jam from Grenada. In me it is something delicious. I would even buy it if it were in the price range of Dior parfumes.
