I'm a woman and I bought this for myself. I like masculine scents with a hint of femininity and I find that all of the Tom ford scents offer that. I was intending to buy Tom fords tobacco vanille but opted for this one since it was so unique and different. I too can't stop smelling myself and I bought the larger bottle. It's great that it also lasts for a long time on my clothes. Great review and I too give it a 10/10

Well, this is your brother from across the border, I did try out Noir Extreme at a mall, kinda liked it, while it might smell like Kulfi in a certain way, at least after a good amount of time's elapsed, it doesn't quite smell like any Kulfi I've tried across India, I think it's because of the oomph of the spices and dry fruits and the absence of a 'milkiness' in the fragrance...

The only problem i have with this cologne is that its gone in 20 min and it doesn't project at all . Its a close encounter fragrance.It doesn't last long on my skin, but its a masterpiece,I wish it could be a beast mode.

Oh Noir Extreme...where do I start... Well, this one is a Love/hate for me. I absolutely LOVE, I mean LOVE the opening...but this thing just does NOT last. It's heartbreaking. For the amount of money you spend you might as well go for a 50 ml of a private blend. Love it, but hate the fact that you do not get your money's worth. Steven, any frags you can recommend that smell the same or close to the opening of this but last longer? Any suggestions would be much obliged, thank you! :D -Henry

@@compositingwithkushal The lasting power is moderate. Maybe 4 - 6 hours. By the time my husband comes home after an 11 hour work day, I barely smell it anymore. Also, this is only good for cold weather. It's too heavy if you spray it in temperature over about 12 degrees.

I did as a matter of fact. My collection is nothing like yours yet, right at 100 bottles now. I split them up between niche and designer, then again by season. So, right now I've got my summer niche set out on a vanity, and I installed some color changing flourescent lighting above them to give the bottles a really cool look. I purchased this fragrance on this review alone. I have no regrets, it's beautiful. But I can't agree that it's unique. The opening reminds me a lot of One Million and a bit of Tobacco Vanille in there too. The dry down reminds me so much and I feel is just about identical to Midnight in Paris' opening. Great review, as always... I need you honest opinion on something.. I'm buying a date fragrance, don't have a girlfriend, so I'd like fragrance that could give me some advance ;-) I'm thinking between Spicebomb Extreme and Noir Extreme. I've tried both on my skin. SE have great projection and longevity, but it is a bit too spicy. While, NE has great smell and longevity, but week projection. I already have clubbing fragrance (Ultra Male), I'll buy something for the summer. So i need your advice on this one

Hi! I did watch your review on Creed Aqua de Florentina. Thank you for introduce that to me. It is pricey but it seems worth it. I will test in the store. The price scared me but then I saw a less expensive bottle. Would you recommend Tom Ford Noir for a woman please? I am a singer n I would use for my performances. Tom Ford Noir has all the notes I would want in a perfume. I am confused between TF Noir or Acqua by Creed or Byredo or Narciso Rodriguez musk oil or the male version from NR. Thank you. In terms of mainstream fragrances, I don't think this smells like any other fragrance, but it's a gourmand, and other gourmands don't feature the note of vanilla like this one does.

Steven, as I have said many times you are my 'go to' for all my fragrance purchases, and my collection has grown quite a bit over the past few months. I love each and every one of them, but I must admit that Tom Ford Noir Extreme does nothing for me. It smells like an old lady, and even for a gourmand scent just comes off as a bowl of oatmeal with cinnamon and vanilla sprinkled on. I wish I loved it like you do. The bottle is A+, but that's all the good I can say. I still love you and will keep watching. Thank you for the post.

An amazing scent but not sure about all this longevity of 9 and 10 hours plus.....I just tested Noir Extreme at 5 hours with a soft projection, pretty much a skin scent after 1.5/2 hours.
