Once drawn, I didn't see him take the safety OFF on the pistol ?? Is that just because hes extremely comfortable and experienced so he always keeps his side arm live ? Or would that be common for most people to have off when concealing and carrying? Thanks for the info.

harlemhornet Everyone I know keeps it on, but I’m no expert. I do know that Glocks don’t have a safety button. They have built in safety mechanisms, but no safety button. Maybe there are other guns like that. Or maybe some ppl do keep it off. I’d be afraid of shooting myself on accident lol.

Plus if your in a SUPER RUSHED, TENSE Situation... your shaking.. Adrenaline through the roof. Your initial holster grab might miss slightly.. Accidently Shoot yourself in the side of the leg . ( Like we've all seen in videos on here lol).

I have a SCCY CPX 2 9mm (much better than the CPX 1, got the kinks worked out) and it has no safety at all . . . . it's Dual Action Only, shoots like a revolver. I keep 10 in the mag and one in the pipe. I could drop it from a building or throw it against a wall and it will NEVER misfire. The trigger is a little weighty and the reset is a little slower but with training and trigger discipline it isn't an issue at all.
