ban all the guns here's what it's going to take to get me to sign a petition to ban all guns, I need solid proof and not some made-up stuff, but solid proof that gun control lowers crime, I would also want back every single penny that I used to purchase and upgrade every firearm that I have, lastly, I would need you to take your message to criminals in jail or on the streets and see what type of reply you get and also document it through video. And if the outcome is what I deem satisfactory, I would gladly sign a petition to ban all guns.

@big red chipper You want to ban all guns? My state has Constitutional Carry. Hell, you can buy them from anyone you want without filling out a single piece of paper or notifying anyone that the sale ever occurred. We can also carry concealed without permits and can do so everywhere we have a legal right to be, with the exception of government buildings (yes even churches, bars, and campuses). Because that is what Freedom is. That is also why my state ranks below the national average for crime and homicide rates. Guns are not a danger to the public in the hands of good people. And those who shout for gun control only do so because they don't have integrity or personal responsibility. They feel like no one could possibly be responsible enough to safely handle and carry a firearm because they only have their shitty self to go on when it comes to morality and personal responsibility...and you people are obviously lacking, if not completely without, in those categories. So you have the opportunity to get behind cover/concealment and transition to a pistol but you don't have time to TRB? I don't know. I feel like my split times in training for noticing a malfunction, tapping the mag to make sure its seated, racking a new round, getting back on target and firing is not much, if any, slower than transitioning to a pistol, obtaining a new sight picture, and getting a good shot off. Especially if I am AIWB carrying the pistol, because then you have to take the extra time to make sure the primary is out of the way and off to your side, rather than just dropping it in front. Maybe its just me, but I'm much more proficient with my rifle than my pistol at every distance and my transitions aren't always faster. Or enough faster to rely on a pistol caliber over a rifle caliber. I'd really love to see you showing people the difference in times between your immediate action drills and your transitions. Sure, if I'm standing in an open room with a guy within 20 feet, I may just drop the rifle on the sling and transition, but I can't justify it if I have the time and opportunity to get behind some form of cover, even if it is only a door jam. I do think everyone needs a lot of trigger time on both transitions and immediate action. They will be able to see which feels right to them. I wasn't a SeAL, so this is just my 2 cents. Semper Fi

What an emberrsment and sellout this guy is, he know better than anyone the hundreds of hours it takes to detect that type of misfire and preform those operations from muscle memory in a real scenario. Practice all you want at the range, unless your doing tactical training with live fire you will have little to no training for a live firefight let alone sensing a malfunction.
