In the first 2 or 3 seconds, is the Regen causing ducking even though Blend is at 0? I guess I'm trying figure out the sound - what's DV and what's the original drums. I think I get it now. The original drum sounds have some kind of reverse/wobbly thing going on before DV processes it. The drums aren't just straight-ahead kick/snare/cymbal sounds. I thought that was the DV doing those kind of sounds to the drums at first, which is why I asked about the first few seconds before Blend was up. But it looks like that's just how the dry drums sound.

Ya, that’s just how the dry drums sound. I definitely could have chosen a better source loop haha.

what kicks do you use in your modular? this patch is sick

I use a lot of layered kick samples, and then trigger them through a Bitbox module. And thanks!

@@SnakesofRussia nice, i’m using the dfam at the moment, and you can get some nice sweet spots, but not always easy in a live setting. thanks for the response ;)

nice! do you modulate the regen parameter?
@SnakesofRussia

Oh ya for sure. Or I keep it all the way clockwise and modulate the wet/dry, but I utilize it in every patch for sure.

What's making the cymbal sounds?
@SnakesofRussia
@SnakesofRussia 4 жыл бұрын
This is just an audio file of a drum loop with some reverse cymbals in it, but when the Regen knob goes to 3 o’clock you do get some interesting sidechain shimmer type sounds.

no input and output is patched? Signal in and out with one cable?
@SnakesofRussia
@SnakesofRussia 4 жыл бұрын
The input/output jacks are just below the frame, for the outputs I’m using black cables so it’s a bit harder to see, but you can make out the white cables to the input. I have stereo in and stereo out in this particular patch.
