usualy the cost of energy produced is around Rs 50 to 60 per unit at NTP , defenetly the output of Engine driving the generator also be very less due to high altitude It can used as a last option and expecially during cross country travells. No as solar panels have low efficiency. Even if you put solar panels on your car and connect it to battery it will generate very less power and due to the weight of panel, car overall weight will increase and less mileage. So your investment will be wasted.

This kind of charging option is good for taking the vehicle in such a place where standard electric supply is not available, in such a scenario cost of petrol/fuel is not relevant generally. .Nice Video, though you guys can simply use one wire for both earth and neutral, it will work sufficiently, meaning from one wire in ground or any ground point (which will conduct ac current in suffiecient amperage) , on the other end of the wire split it into two and insert one end in earth and other in neutral (note: primarily earth is required only in AC in case the neutral is broken (that is for additional safety), which why a dc based circuit does not required earth as it has only a positive and negative points to complete the circuit) , only if this split technique don't work then you need to use 2 cables one for neutral and other for earth, but normally a single cable with one end in/on ground and 2 split points one in neutral and earth should not cause any issue that is would be a safe option. Hope this helps.

Does the charging work on the regular plug point. If not, I have seen people coming up with workaround like a 4mm wire with a regular 3 pin plug on one end and an mcv plug on the other so that you can connect to the regular plug points anywhere and use the gun for slow charging incase fast charging is not available..Can you check that possibility..it may come really handy.

You using your personal vehicle to take up challenges to help us understand EV scene today in india. 👏 If you have heard of portable power stations like yeti 1000, jackery explorer 1000, etc. People use them as large power backups in case of emergency and they are solar compatible. Is it possible if you can test charging nexon ev using one of these? Also there a few lithium battery manufacturers in and around pune who provide "range extender" for e2o and e'verito can they bring up an extender for nexon ev? I know one called Northway motors. See if it helps to have a range extender for nexon too.

Hey we did get in touch with NorthWay some time back about ev conversions of ice vehicles but they are not ready to commercially to discuss these things till they launch it properly ... we have heard of these power stations and some power banks but acquiring them for tests is getting difficult as they are not locally available in the market ... we are working on it thou hopefully we get our hands on them n we make a video for you all 🤞🏻

Assuming ev gives 300 km max range on full charge. 5 % will give 15 km range using 2lt petrol in generator which is effective 7.5km mileage. Not bad compared to petrol cars and emergency situations

Vehicle must have two separate battery compartments one compartment shall be used for driving. One more compartment get charged while on the move by generator with earthing on the go option or at idle position. This cannot be done on branded car like this but there are ways to do it charging on the go for modified or conversion cars.
