While towing the Fortuner consumed 2 litre extra which is 200/- This 200/- charged the Nexon from 53 to 90 which means 37% of 30KW = 11KW The per unit charging cost is 18/- for towing The fast charger rate is around 24/- per unit By towing you will save time too since your car will be moving The per unit cost will be less for trucks or big commercial vehicle

Fortuner se 40% battery charge karne ke liye 30km drive karna pada... Charging cost 600 rupay aaya. Emergency ke liye to theek hai, par isse achha fast charger rahega.

Using a hook and chain truck, dolly, or wheel lift tow truck leaves two of the EV’s wheels spinning. When an EV’s wheels spin, they continuously generate power to the battery. If that power is not being used it can damage the battery and motor. In order to safely tow an electric vehicle, you must use a flatbed tow truck.

I like the idea. But I think Tata motors prohibited this, towing by other vehicle. I don't remember the document where I saw that. But you are clearly demonstrating that it works. 👍🏼 You can also try towing with wagonr on regen level 1. In theory regen 1 puts less load than regen 3

Towing like this doesn’t work when the EV is stalled and doesn’t start. Not only Tata but most of the EVs would have their tyres locked in such cases. I saw a kona met with an accident and the guy got a wheel lift tow truck instead of flatbed which resulted to the tow truck to stall and the rear tyres of kona were ripped(only within 4-5 kms). Hence, In case of EV stalling ensure to get a flatbed.
