I was a teenage metal fan when the NWOBHM started and there were literally dozens of great bands recording all at the same time. It was a great time.

It is the stand alone riffs that made the NWOBHM bands sound so good, and this is a great example, beautiful melodic guitar too. And the bands played on.............

Got this superb NWOBHM rarity on lovely green vinyl. Think I was on a day trip to see the donkeys and illuminations in Blackpool when I found it...picked up an LP by the band 100% Proof at the same time...oh yeah and Iron Cross by Jackboot..a good day!

Bet my 100% proof LP`s worth quite a bit...it`s very AC/DC, it`s got a tribute song on it to Bon Scott to emphasize it! The covers a band live shot - well ropey, might have been that gig you was at Ozzy mate!

Would`ve been too early for an Anthrax cover. The lead guitarist was a very stocky bloke..saw an AC/DC tribute band from up north a couple of years back.. guitarist was very similar. Funny enough the singer dressed like Brian Johnson but they only played Bon Scott era stuff!
