I'm sure he knows, and I'm very sure it's not because you are one of the producers of the original that your remix can not not be as good as the original either... you know, when you made a classic it's hard to unwrite it especially with a track supposed to offer some twist. It's not meant to replace or make you love that more, it's there to offer something more, and give a fresh look to a classic. :)
