My mics are different. Bought them second hand. JTS on the kick , shure on the toms and superlux on the snare.

I decrease the low or middle frequencies so my drums come out on top.

@@BreakBlast343 hm I see thx! I always wonder how 'legit' a drum cover is based on that. You can find so many drummers playing just over the original track so you basically hear the drums from the record with the guy's playing on top of it. Always found that amateurish.

@@GuiGeekDrumming You just have to pick your covers.The ones that will sound the best when you put you drum recordings on top of the original ones.Some work out quite well and others don't.Good luck!
