Your experience almost mirrors mine exactly and the only disparity is I'm still here 10 years later. I'm sure I'll never grow out of the feeling that I get from it either. I remember hearing the bass on some really good headphones and nearly giving up trying to make electronic music at the realization I couldn't recreate something even vaguely similar let alone being creative enough to create it first, it's a separate sample used to layer over the other sub bass that sounds like robotic talking fading in and out but it's not easily heard on speakers or even over head, headphones but a quality in ear pair lets it become fully appreciated and once noticed and as far as I knew anything like it doesn't exist anywhere else it makes this one of the most important pieces of music I've heard.

With Noisia at the end of the road it is so nostalgic to listen to this track and watch the music video. It brings me back to when I've first heard it and now seeing how these tracks are all around 10 years old it's insane, I don't want to sound like an old person but... I want those times to be back in moments like this.

I still can't hardly believe that Noisia as we know them will be no more, this has always been one of my favorite tunes of theirs, and definitely one of the best music videos ever made. I'm sure it's well up to interpretation but this video seems to so well encapsulate everything Noisia was and is, they shook the ground the world over with music the likes of which has not been created before or since, and even in their end, countless other musicians have been inspired by Noisia, and thrived under the shade of the metaphorical tree which they have planted for all of us.

From the off-beat drums in the intro and outro to the breakneck drums in the "chorus", and the absolutely bone-chilling synths...I have never heard a drum 'n' bass song so emotional whilst still being so hardcore. TIME FOR THE BEST MUSIC REVIEW EVER! *this is purely opinion but this song hit me* I haven't seen an explanation but i will give my version of it. This song refers to the feelings one has of possibly breaking out of society's structural regimes. One doesn't just decide one day to go against it, it requires lots of thinking and planing which is seen in the beginning of the video with the big plane breaking out of societies barriers. The big plane itself breaking down in the air is how one faces many attacks from the world once you come out as different but even then one should still fight for their cause. That is when the actual small but main plane detaches and settles on its course. The plan flying along the way and crashing on the ground is the big moments of uproar one will face as they continue to trudge along this path of difference from societies norms and in the end the plane crashes into a 'skyscraper in nature' and finally one feels free from the songs eerie sense. "Could this be" is possibly a song that asks that could coming out about ones differences and beliefs regardless of what society thinks and possibly destructing oneself (with the onslaught of remarks and uproar that will be caused by this) be the only way to allow others to come out and grow and become their true selves (this is seen with the tree growing in the end).

The story is government. The big plane is a leader, the smaller one is a follower, that follower spreads the news and reaches a city filled with evil. The bomb forms into a tree of life or anarchy into life and those planes are also followers. This can be associated to Christianity.

I consider this video the audiovisual representation of a man's life. In our childhood we are held aloft by the protecting embrace of our parents (the big wooden plane), and as they grow old and decrepit, we leave them to die and embark on our own adventure. Filled with youthful optimism and energy, we (the small blue) zoom across the plains, crashing into the ground multiple times due to our inexperience. But as we grow older ourselves we become wiser and find inner serenity (the lake).
