3/6 got it twisted. To put it simply, the boys reignited their old classics with remixing & putting their own spin on things. They paid their respects multiple times over the years publicly. They’ve done worked with juicy. The boys are genuine, down to earth people. 3/6 is not for suing & should be thanking them for bringing their old hits back to the forefront of people’s minds. Scarecrow is an embodiment of scrims old self (pre-sober). Has nothing to do with Infamous. They could’ve just talked out royalties or even done a tour together & pay off each other however they see fit. But. Guess we will never see that juicy/boys collab. Major L for 3/6.

Sorry SuicideBoys, even though I do like some of their music 1st thing I said after hearing their stuff was "I bet DJ Paul is rubbin his hands together like Birdman listening to these guys jack their whole style." Who cares if they produced a mixtape or 2 for Juicy J? Artists do that all the time, chop it up & they both benefit from the colab. Also, DJ Paul/Juicy J have been clearing 3-6 Mafia samples for years, why would they let these two jack so much from them for free?
@JaredConnell Жыл бұрын
It kinda sucks but juicy and paul have to protect their IP or it will set precedent and other people will sample their stuff and not pay royalties. I just wish it could have been hashed out outside of the courts, and I think most fans of both sides probably feel the same way.

I’ve been listening to Three Six Mafia since they First came out and there was NOTHING like it and anyone caught listening to them were deemed automatically Goth, Satanic and Just way Too Gangster compared to everything else in the Early years that was coming out. They’re true pioneers of a Genre that Took DECADES for the masses to catch on to AND now when the Younger generation are growing up Embracing what was established for them the LEAST they could do is GIVE credit where it’s Due and PAY YOUR ROYALTIES. Even lil infamous DM'd $crim and said he doesnt want to be a part of it. Dont leave out important details to make Juicy and Paul look better. Theyre mad hypocritical, theyre also getting SUED by old memphis legends for 150 infringements, thats literally like 4 times what theyre suing $b for. $b didnt make an entire career using memphis samples. 35 songs out of 300 isnt that much especially cause most of the samples are 4-8 second vocal loops. $B have gave their homage, and they arent even really that memphis sounding they have way more influences than just memphis rappers.
