Finally. I’m so glad these guys are having this conversation. Sex is meant to be significant. It’s meant to be a connection, not a a tally system for a man’s sense of accomplishment. I agree that bragging is stupid. Doesn’t help yourself or people around you. However you are wrong about “ sex is meant to be significant. It’s meant to be a connection”. If what you’re looking for is settling down type of thing then sex yes is meant to be a connection thing. But if you’re looking for sex and sex only, then going on dates makes zero sense because to get to know someone just for sex seems so irrelevant. Like yes or no do you wanna smash and you smash. You don’t waste any emotional time by going on a date to “ get to know someone” that only increases the chances of a connection forming which is dangerous and not what you’re out there for.

A few thoughts: I think these guys speak a lot of truth here. I would add that a lot of men will be able to sleep with many women without truly fixing their confidence issues (aka feeling comfortable and confident enough to be able to introduce themselves to women they like), which brings about a vicious circle of temporary boosts of confidence/ego, but with a lack of belief they can have access to the women they truly want. EDIT: On the other hand, it's unrealistic to expect that every man could gain that kind of confidence, so these slightly underwhelming conquests are certainly better than nothing (given that the women in question are treated respectfully, not just as ego boosters). It's not like being an incel is a better option.

You marry a person you actually love and are able to have sex with them happily without any problems. If you want kids you’re outlook sees it more of a blessing rather then something that “drags you down.” Plus you are able to plan it rather than have a kid where you’re not even sure the other person will support.
