My mom gave me the advice when I was in high school to find a man in college. That all the best eligible men will be married by 30. I took this serious and was on a mission to find husband and marry by mid 20s. I was 21 when we met, my senior year. He was 26 when we married. I graduated before him and I was totally fine starting from nothing with him and building a life together. There were so many low moments but I always told myself life is made of seasons. Get through the tough times together and have good rides to look forward to. Both have we made such a wonderful life together. It took a lot of years before we became financially stable and a lot of women wouldn't want to stick in the bad. But now I have my husbands full trust and he knows I'm loyal. That has made him such a tender and soft side towards me, but it took many years of proving my loyalty (11 years now) that he treats me like his queen. I earned this though. Women want to be treated like royalty for simply existing lol

Everything he said is true. My Husband and I are exactly as what the host described about his parents. We are not that old, we are in our 40’s. We got married one year out of college. We both made about 40k each. We were just so happy we could down paid a small condo and living together. Few years later, he was making 75k and we have our first kid and I have become a stay home mom. Now 17 years later, husband is making 180k and we have rental investment that brings in another 60k. We are quite happily married and enjoying the life we have built together. Most men like this are not available to young girls in their 20’s. He is in a completely different stage of his life. He is not into bar hopping. He is focusing on guiding his kids’ college application and club sports. You have to find your own young guy and build a life with him. Smart girls can spot good guys with potential.

You all act as if marrying young is the answer for everything. If that was the case, society would have kept it in the 1950s. The cold, harsh truth is that plenty of women try to be on serious relationships on their early 20s with men their age and most of those relationships fail. Even if they marry a guy that eventually becomes "high value", nothing assures her he won't be cheating on her. Quit romaticizing marrying young.

I realise at young age that i don't want a puppet to play with and to buy me a lot things . I realise man have feelings, sometimes women are mean. they forgot that we all are one the same boat. I'm average my future husband is average and we don't care. We are attracted to each other. I love him and i support him. We are realistic about support each other and love . I'm so happy because our relationship is spiritual. It's beyond amazing . I'm not with him for his money. I'm with him because i love him . I don't need his money i need him in my life . Sorry for my english . I want to say i support all men and women who want real relationship. Women be kind and support and build your relationship have project together forget about your selfishness. @AJweathersby3 жыл бұрын
@Jackie Lou Lack of qualified men? Let’s analyze that. In the black community, generally, men want women who are in shape, cooperative, and childless. Women want men who are hard working, faithful, and stable. 80% of women are overweight, 80% of those are obese (there goes fitness). Women initiate divorce at a rate of 80% (there goes cooperativeness). And close to 80% of kids are born out of wedlock (there goes childlessness). In comparison, 51% of black men are single and childless, and 64% are middle class. So between men and women, whose really lacking in qualifications?

This jerk died young and miserable. Are you going to listen to this trash talking jerk? Men want too much, give too little. Treat your woman like a queen, and she will love you back forever. This person was divorced, obviously miserable, died young. You want to listen to this? The only people that are going YES are men who abuse, who know nothing about women, like the Middle Eastern types. (Not all). You can't dress your woman in a black garbage bag, abuse her, and expect a loving, giving, human being to be at your Beck and Call. More than likely, she will wait for her opportunity to flee. If you abuse her more harshly, she will wait for you to fall asleep. Chilling what men want and expect. That is all this guy brought to the forefront, what you guys want. Be forewarned women and protect yourselves. "If you want to get something out of somebody". Monster dude!!!!!! Why don't you go to the wives of this person, and ask them how they feel? His advice advocates for control and more control. Listening to this man is seriously disturbing. "Same value in your lady parts". How about your man parts?

@@CornellG 🤨 no it’s not fine lol. The point of the message is that modern black women pass up on men they could have built a successful life with in their 20’s because they want to be free to sleep around “just like men do”. they didn’t realize that when they do that they’re drastically devaluing themselves because men and women don’t choose for the same reasons. They sit at the finish line and attempt to pick a winner but there’s a reason rates of single black women over 30 are skyrocketing.

When he was talking about black men, no one bat an eye. Yet the minute he starts degrading black women, the world exalted him. The only way black man would make it on this social ladder is when he degrades those who resemble him...why is that? This man had an agenda and he knew he needed to bash us in order to make it. I hated Kevin Samuels initially, but when I sat and truly listened to his message, this man saved my marriage. I've been with my partner 12 years and we've had good and bad years together. Lately, I've been dissatisfied for reasons that we of my own making. Over time, I lost appreciation for a man who has ALWAYS been good to me, our child, never steps out on me, has never called me out of my name, takes care of us and has supported me in every way imagable. I had to reframe my expectations and Kevin Samuels made me realize that I was trying to break us for petty reasons that don't matter. My imagination and comfort were starting to convince me that our stability was actually boredom. I will be forever grateful for the things I realized about myself after hearing him speak. The world lost a real one and I hope he's in paradise looking down on all those lives he has touched over the years. The grass isn't always greener and there is something to be said about growing old with someone, especially in our society today. Rest easy Mr. Samuels. A true gentlemen who was worthy of praise and admiration.

I think these conversations need to be heard. The modern ideas are being pushed to keep people distracted. I do understand that at some point the feminist movement was needed to give women rights to vote, etc. However, in this day and age there is nothing women can’t do that men can. I think feminism hurts women as much as it hurts men and the family nucleus. Masculine men are necessary for society to function. There will always be toxic masculinity because some people in general are just toxic. Period. But masculinity in itself is a good thing. Most men are naturally inclined to be protectors and providers. Let men be men and women be women. Society is pushing women to be masculine and men to be feminine and I’m over it.
