Hello Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial. On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there. Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes but don't you just hate it when people can't let go of your past mistakes. I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life. Can we talk?

In the original, which I had happened to proudly own, the keypad cover opened with a cool "shtunk" sound via a small button on the back. Also the two main buttons and the thumb scroll were available without opening the keypad cover, which let me make and answer calls, and read messages without opening the cover, which was a great idea, sadly not present on this version. And the build quality seemed much higher than on this one. Basically it's a bent bar phone with a chintzy plastic slide cover. 1/10 will not buy :D

What is that smart feature OS? Glad they have upgraded from S30/S40. But still, want to see Symbian re-imagined. The classic feature phones deserve more smartness, power, apps, and multitasking of course. For what I loved my Symbian back then is specially because it could do multi-task, like I could literally pause my game and reply to a text and get back to the game instantly. Even if this one does have decent hardware, the software support is too limited. Symbian was already feature-rich at that time, thousands of apps, games, social apps, browsers, customizations, java support and all. Just bring it back from the dead. I would love to use opera/UC, facebook, maps, whatsapp and still get days-long battery life. If not Symbian, I think google should develop a super lite, tiny version of their android, with specially designed apps, specially for feature phones. These phones are limited these days, but surely not dead, even as a backup phone, people love to keep one. I still prefer the symian Snake btw -_-

It is still good for their marketing, and also, they have to bridge the gap between feature phones and smartphones for the African market, for example. People there are not gonna jump straight from a feature phone to a smartphone (still too expensive for a lot of consumers), so they have to sell some hybrids.
@MiguelGalaz94_6 жыл бұрын
237/5000 Juho Sarvikas hinted at the press conference that these phones, apart from covering the demand for feature phones, are destined to cover the nostalgia market. It's not a secret, even they said that when Nokia 3310 (2017) was launched at the past MWC; I maybe get your comment, because nowadays mobile market is focused on smartphones, but it forgets the consumers looking for basic stuff and developing countries.

Gavin Well, HMD (who makes Nokia phones) makes to both the people of the smartphone and feature pbone markets. There are still plenty of people around the world who still use feature phones, and not traditional smartphones. So, HMD's feature phones try to bridge the gap between them, by adding smartphone features to traditional feature phones. However, some of their feature phones, like this one, are also simply made for nostalgic purposes

How old were you when Matrix was released? Older generation will appreciate the nostalgia, we know how fast technology has moved on, no need to bash the phone and say how bad things were TWO DECADES AGO!!!!!

It would've of been way cooler if they had the phone slide out by pushing a switch on the side of the phone like the old one during the matrix days

Nokia can't fail because they have nostalgia on their hands.

When this guy says that he thinks it's only going to sell because of nostalgia he's not taking into account the hundreds of other countries that still use really basic phones even if they're technologically advanced like South Korea and Japan

Great phone. Mom will get two of those for our her younger sons. Perfect in size.

I miss times when you could unlock your phone and start, type, and send a text message without looking at your phone for even a second.

I just bought one as an emergency phone. It has LTE and GPS with turn-by-turn navigation, still has Whatsapp, and the battery lasts forever.

i love the idea of a hotspot feature. The second feature i miss from switching from a smartphone to a asha 210

so much potential for this phone.... they can make keypad with touch screen for full keyboard and others..... oh well cheap n good now very hard to come by

Amusing, but I think the sliding thing could perhaps just work as a case for a smartphone since there are plenty of wallet-style cases, if you're just trying to get a vague nostalgia factor.
