Nokia Asha 201 review

If you need a phone with a physical keyboard, the Nokia Asha 201 is one of the cheapest mobile phones you can get. However, its outdated OS and slow mobile internet connections stop it being much use in its role as a social networking and email tool. Other phones around the same price offer both Wi-Fi and 3G, making this phone feel as though it's stuck in the past.

In many of nokia's more recent phones, they have disabled that feature where all the songs are added to the 'Now Playing' list when 1 song is selected from a folder that has more than 1 music file in it. It's sad I know, but, you can select the songs, and create playlists of the songs that you like from a specific folder in which ever order you want. Hope that info helped!

Is this phone compatible with any sort of earphones, like the bullet shaped ones or can it just play music through those bulky headphones. I owned an asha 301 and that one could only use the bulky headphones.

This is without a doubt the best phone I have ever owned by far. in terms of reaching popularity, I urge you to take a look at the reviews on, especially on shopping sites, it is still selling from this day

It is a good phone because i have it but it has nokia store which all applications and games have to be on internet to be used or even if you do install something you cant unistall it out. There is also no wifi . This phone has - and +

You actually think it is all made of plastic. The whole side of the phone, where the memory card and the ports are, is actually a hard single-piece metal ring that protects the plastic in case of falling to the ground. I had one that fell in the water. Still works, that tough little phone. and about the charger... Apple also has their own charger moder, so I don't understand is why you complain about the nokia charger but no one remembers about the apple charger.
