Nokia was so much ahead of its time. The designs still look more than modern and futuristic, and everytime I use that Symbian, which is pretty much a 2011 OS, feels really modern, especially comparing it to the OS back then, but it still holds up today, in many aspects even better than modern OS. (Except of course the lack of any support nowadays). I always imagine how far Symbian could be, if Nokia went on developing it further!

I had this phone for a couple of years. A few things to add: The camera had a mechanical shutter and a two stage camera button (as is tradition) There were two ways to charge it. USB and the legacy Nokia pin charger Beside the USB host it also supported keyboard and mouse. So you can go desktop mode with HDMI out. The OS would multi task the sound so you can listen to a podcast at the same time with music. if you want. The screen was AMOLED and had a customizable always on screen. You can put your own picture to always display when phone is idle.

What I love about this particular Nokia smartphone is that Nokia built a 12MP camera sensor with 1/1.83" and 1.75 micron pixel in 2010! Sony took exactly one DECADE later to create a modern day interpretation of such sensor with the IMX 555 for non-Ultra flagship Samsung Galaxy models and IMX 557 for flagship Sony Xperias. It does really show just how totally ahead of the times Nokia were used to be.

OOOOH Another excellent phone from Nokia! Like the N95 8Gb I had, I simply LOVED IT... That camera was absolutely fantastic! I mean the Zenon flash was a great touch too. When I switched from the N95 to the N8, my 'everyday carry' was the phone and a 32Gb USB memstick... My Ex Gf had the gold, but... I went black... Yeah, like you said, a little buggy at first, but after some updates it was great. Browser wise yeah I agree, so I used Opera... I was tempted though to go the physical keyboard version the E7.. And REALLY WOULD love to see a modern version of the E7 (having briefly had time with a BlackBerry Torch 9810 since). Nokia slide mechanisms on all their phones were always solid, stable, reliable and just sooo pleasing to use... I said this a few times on your other videos of great Nokia phone reviews... "Damn....
