They are beautiful, both colors. I hope HMD gets it right in future models, design, build quality and good cameras are very important, the screen size is ideal 6.43. They need to improve the availability for sale as soon as possible, it still takes a long time, it is certain that it is undergoing internal transformations and the last 3 years have been cruel for small companies, let's wait for the next releases.

That is one sweet looking, well designed device. No doubt. But I'm still looking forward to the XR-20 followup! It sucks that there's no charger, condom case or a pre-installed screen protector! Plus the lack of a micro SD card slot is a downer. PS The X-30 reminds me of the ice-copper 7.1 that I had, probably one of the best designed phones I've had...a thing of beauty!

It's really bad that nokia stopped including charging adaptors. It's not going to save environment. It will simply affect our wallet..and come on nokia these are midrange smartphones( don't do this in the price sensetive midrange segment)

Just removing the charger will not save the environment. But this phone is made out of recycled materials, the box is completely recyclable including the pamphlets. And Nokia mobile scores very highly in the Ecovadis standard of sustainability. So the little things do add up. I don't think the X30 is aimed at price sensitive buyers btw. So many other devices will offer more "flashy" features in a less premium package.

I got the ice white 8/256 model. I honestly really wanted to like the X30. In white it’s certainly beautiful. It’s fast and the display is fantastic. It’s build quality is great and the camera is actually very good. However I ended up sending it back as for me personally it has some drawback. No1 I’ve found the finger print reader doesn’t always activate and you end up having to use your pin. Sometimes the print icon just doesn’t come on at all. No2 I absolutely hate the buttons. On my device they are hard to press and dig your fingertips. They have no give at all. And when I put the official case on, it only made the problem worse. No3 and for the 2nd time I’ve encountered this problem, I’ve found my X30 to have optimisation problems on video playback. Playing purchased films from Google tv is a joke. I first encountered this on my Nokia X10, but here it is again on X30. And no4 is the quality of that speaker. One word……. Shocking. It’s one of the worst sounding speakers I’ve ever heard on a phone at this price point. Thin and tinnie sounding. Sorry Nokia this just isn’t the one for me. I will stick with my XR20.

Hi Nomad! When I first got the X30 almost 2 months ago, I was also struggling to understand how the FP reader works. But with the retail version, it almost always unlocks from the first attempt without me having to press hard on the display at all. Regarding the speaker, this surprises me a bit. I don't think its as good as the one on the XR20 (which is much thicker and has 2) but I think the quality of the speaker is pretty good. Its quite loud and sounds rich to me. I just bought a second X30 (blue) and will test it out later though to see if its any different. Its almost identical to the one used on the 8.3. Heres hoping the XR21/XR30 isn't too far off.

@@AbdullaZaki I’d also say the haptic engine isn’t great either. It’s definitely on the cheaper side. Anyway I just don’t think price for price the X30 brought as much to the table as a complete package as the XR20 did for the price. In fact apart from the screen technology and the processor, is say the XR20 excels in every other way. For me the competition from Nothing phone and pixel are just simple far ahead of the XR20. Not even by a little bit either. They are very far ahead indeed.
