I’d argue that shiny hunting is better without it! Makes for a much more intense and immersive experience. Just make sure you have LOTS of Pokéballs… Unless you want to clench your cheeks the whole time like I did with Virizion. 😂

i shiny hunted a shiny giratina in usum for around 4 years and finally a couple of months ago i got it to show up. i was determined to catch it in a beast ball bc shiny giratina in a beast ball makes me cream. i literally caught non shiny giratinas then reloaded my save just to make sure my strategy to catch it would work 100% and i wouldnt fail it. i still have the big guy in home to this day. 👍

I was hunting him and took a huge break, but I'll be getting back to him soon enough. I think Giratina has one of the prettiest shinies, it's so cool you caught him! I was planning to go for a quick ball with mine (it would be cool if I had moon balls, I think some people got apricorn balls with a pre order or something). Your Arceus video actually had me really worried because I never knew he had a really low catch rate until you pointed it out. I also wanted to match but for some reason kept throwing dusk balls, they do match his eyes I think. But this is so cool! And good luck with whatever you wind up hunting next!

In ORAS I had a shiny exeggutor that has skill swap and bestow which throws an item at the opponent allowing them to hold it. Not sure if exeggutor can learn bestow in these games but helped alot with catching my shiny lugia and ho-oh since they only had 20 pp total in ORAS

I caught Reshiram from Dynamax Adventures back when it released, and now I want to get it as a shiny. What method do you think is more efficient? 1. Dynamax Adventures on a different user, normal shiny rates - SWSH 2. Ultra-Space Wormholes SR's - USUM 3. Fabled Cave SR's - ORAS Sword and Shield might be an easy choice but keep in mind you have to battle before you can check if it is is shiny.
