It's not just an authentic Sinistea, it's something rarer due to the square sparkles. The square sparkles are a 1 in 5 chance. Congratulations Noki!

Aren't squares 1/16 odds on shiny. Thought squares are XOR = 0 , where shinies are XOR < or = 16

Unless this has been patched, wild encounters are actually glitched and square sparkles are way more common than normal sparkles.

Noki uploaded LETSGOOO, also thank you for the fun facts about shiny sinistea, never knew the little teacup was the rarest shiny in pokemon SW&SH, nor did I know about the authentic vs phony versions. That ending was absolutely golden (well purple-ish pink), when Noki finally remembered his master ball, had me crying in joy as someone who was following every single one of his shiny hunts where he forgot his master ball. Look forward to what content you'll create for Scarlet and Violet! This was a great ending to gen 8

The first Sinistea that I found in Violet was actually a Shiny.. and by 'first' I mean the actual first one. Not the second, not the third - the first. What are the odds? :D But then again I feel like it is much easier to find shiny Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. Sinistea was my second Shiny. Goomy (now Goodra) was the first.

When I was training for the Tower I remember I was training to get Sp Atk ev's then the Sinistea appeared shiny and all it was my first shiny on that game, then when I noted that it didn't evolved with the normal Old thing I was like what is going on. Then I asked my friend what was going on and he got shocked that I got this one and it took me a bit process all of it. I got so lucky on it so much. Its fun to see different experiences to this shiny mon. Love the use of Danganronpa and Umineko OST's so I'll be excited to look forward to more of your videos and the guess the correct shiny is amazing 🥲❤️‍🔥🙏

I love your hunt, 100% proof you're a pro who is willing to put in the work! Not crapping on your plan of attack for this, however there is a much easier way to go about catching the authentic Sinetea, and I have done it. If you set up raid den 192 (red beam) or den 193 (purple beam) in the old cemetery & do the day skip glitch to the correct point, you can constantly reset the shiny den, using a 2nd switch or a friend to catch the Sinetea and check it. It took me 1.5hrs to reset the den enough times to get the authentic Sinistea on Halloween 2021! I hosted the den for my small group of friends and posted it in Facebook and Discord groups for a 3 hour open raid party and hundreds of authentic Sinetea were caught! I still have 4 or 5, including the Polteageist I evolved.
