My shiny that I was determined to get in the Dynamax Adventures was Necrozma, which took quite a while, even with the shiny charm. My biggest issue was when I took quick breaks in my hunt to try out different legendaries. I got Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini and Lunala within 3 encounters each...

Holy crap. Flashbacks to my own hunt of this damn thing, took me 3 months and 450 encounters to finally catch it in a Beast ball- best streams of my life. Shiny raid hunting can either make you feel vert lucky or very unlucky. For instance, I'm over 100 raids for my shiny Tapu Lele, whereas it took me 50 for my shiny Buzzwole, 16 for shiny Mewtwo, 36 for shiny Tapu Fini, and 8 for shiny Tapu Bulu. But the luckiest I gotten with raids was when I did 4 raids for a shiny Latias, BEFORE I had the shiny charm. The luck of the dice I guess. EDIT: I finally got my shiny Tapu Lele after 148 raids. I wanted to catch it in a Love Ball, but I didn't know this raid was gonna be the one, so it's in a Luxury Ball. Still, I'm very grateful. Also caught a shiny Xurkitree in Ultra Sun after 24 hours and over 4000 resets.

My best suggestion is to hunt them in a different game, like in Ultra Sun, get the shiny charm, and soft reset the old fashion way. Other than that I dunno. I had my shiny Rayquaza from an old event tho.

That’s nothing, I spent £30 in 2022 just for a male regular Scrafty with a specific characteristic because it was sword exclusive (tl;dr, I was looking at my friend’s Pokemon OCs and catching in game equivalents of them (nature, characteristics, gender, move set))

I got lucky and got all of my target legendarys Zygarde, Rayquaza, and Groudon. In under 200 in total for all of them. 6 for Rayquaza Around 60 for Groudon 96 for zygarde. 30$ was worth it.

Wait.. how did you get Groudon for your first Pokemon? I got suicune Also what's funny is that I spent months to get a shiny tapu Lele but I finally got it a few days after my birthday. Now I'm hunting for her sister , tapu fini (I took a break) and maybe her brother, tapu Koko. I don't like tapu bulu so he's not a target. But what's annoying is when I did this with others, everyone left me around the first or second Pokemon or everyone around me got shines. When I finally got my shiny, I screamed so loud. I think my game is glitched. In max lair peonia keeps asking me if i want to know where cresslia is but I won't be able to catch it, I've paid her twice and she won't stop talking about it. And I failed to catch Zygarde so I have him written down in the notes but when I say I want to battle something else I just keep getting Zygarde.
