Yes these cheaper detectors are not so bad. If they can get a little more power to the coil they would make for a great backup.

Are you using a polarizing filter on your camera lens? Getting a tad more "rainbow" on the the detector's box there.

Yes I do have a light filter on my gopro. I lost my original lens! I will be getting a replacement ordered.

I saw a guy in another country and had like 9 inches in the ground aqnd good numbers (MATTIA DETECTOR 89) Looked pretty good for a cheapo

Friend, how deep can this device detect? I'm sorry if you said that in the video. I'm from Brazil and I don't speak English. As it is now arriving in my country, there is no video talking about it. Is it really worth buying? Grateful!

Nokta simplex lite goes deeper. This one only 3-4 inches max

Can you factory reset, mine is not working right, only field mode has some depth but no vdi

@@luigiprovencher Well yes, but then I realized it is just how this detector works. In field mode is good ,I like it very much, has depth and everything,in the other modes not deep but very fast recovery speed. I will use it underwater so I think it will perform very good. So at the end i am very pleased for this price,I hope it will last.

Heaps of depth with 800nox found it better than 900 even with updates . Good on beach up to 14 ins. Last hunt parks and beach easy 500.00 in free goodies all one two dollar coins i find go back on keno up to 18.000 now in wins from recovered coins. Last 4 years 900 nox free all pin pointers top players all free as well it is a top hobby better than beekeeping. 😂

The FindX Pro has an extra search mode. 4 tone Jewellery mode I thought.

Could be. I was just going off the packaging which had the comparison between the pro and regular one. It had a list with check marks showing the difference between the two but never mentioned how many search modes each on has.

Yeah. I think yours is defective or was damaged because I don't think that the screen is supposed to look like that.

@@sealwheel No. I don't think so. I've seen plenty of other videos on the detector and none of them looked like that. I'd complain to the company and return/exchange it.

@@luigiprovencher every camera is different. its probably the camera as i see the same effect on his video of the xterra pro. try looking at your detectors screen while wearing anti-glare (polarized) sunglasses: it'd be identical to how it looks in the video. he probably has an anti-glare filter on his camera. its because the LCD has a polarizer to make the screens visible and nice to humans, but we also use polarizers for an anti-glare effect in sunglasses and on cameras. i do not appreciate the quality of this video much anyways. he immediately places 2 coins on the surface to compare "depth".. thats not how metal detecting works.. on paystreak superfreaks channel (one i trust way more) you do not see this problem. besides having totally different complaints about the metal detector that are more valid, he used a smaller coil and STILL found items much deeper than 3 inches. i dont trust this youtube channel.

Wow this video made this detector look baaaaad 😮😂 And whats with the screen it looks terrible If the screen looks like that you should return it maybe the detector you got has issues because if it detects something the depth indicator should work even though theres no vdi
