Thank you for taking the time to show us another great review and video, Austin. Some people just don't get it as to why you would be showing us a video of a lower priced machine. Yes, I can catch fish with my most expensive fishing equipment, but I can also take out my cheaper stuff and really have a darn good time catching fish and be just as happy and catch lots of fish. It's all about living the life we have and everyone getting out there no matter the money that is spent on equipment. I'm close to 60 years old, and I've watched the word 'pro' practically destroy the fishing industry and try to price us all out. I've watched the word 'pro' run us out of land to hunt on, and now I'm watching the metal detecting community use the word 'pro' to trash on us little guys. Just go out and enjoy life because it passes by faster each year, and let's face it, it's not getting any cheaper to get out there. Oh, loved the nature shots!!

Keep doing what you're doing Austin. My name is Bud Owens who sent you this message once I saw people trying to trash talk on you for bring out an entry level machine when others thought you should bring out 2500 to 3500 dollar machines. That's not what you are trying to show us. What you are showing us are various fun machines that the whole family could go out and have fun with, or that person looking to but their first unit without breaking the bank. I have bounty hunter, a first generation Nokta Simplex, and an XP Dause. All three machines can hit the same pings ans treasure. The simplex is for snorkeling ans it does great. The bounty hunty hunter stays in the dry sand and the xp goes into the wet sand

That FindX actually seems impressive for an entry level unit. Might consider one for my youngest grandkid. Nature and wildlife pix are always welcome. Being open to a variety of experiences makes for a more interesting day, even if the metal pickings are slim !

Great video! Looks like the findx and pro are a great low cost option to get out detecting. Love the nature shots! The ring is cool! I found one of those around a year ago. I think mine is titanium. Definitely makes your heart skip a beat with the gold color haha.

Like the budget machine videos. Give a prospective buyer a chance to see one in action. Hope to see more videos using the FindX too bad there isn't any coil options. Fist thought is I would want to buy the Find X pro just to have the coil options. All and all it appears to be a good starter machine. Maybe with some more use, you can get an idea of the depths it is capable of also try some different areas like a beach and some denser grassy areas. Looking forward to more hunts with the FindX Thanks for the video! ✌

It works. If it holds up, I'd probably recommend it as a good beginner. How do you think it feels and works vs the vanquish. It seems like for half the price, the FindX is a better deal. I think as you try a new machine and IDs you just tend to dig more targets as you learn it. Then eventually you start to subconsciously mentally discriminate signals.

I think you are right about having a new machine, makes you a lot more open to the signals. I think Vanquish still has a strong lead in a lot of scenarios but hard to say for sure only using findX for a day, for the price it seems to be better than a lot of the off brand random amazon detectors, hopefully built to last but only time will tell. 👍

@@TreasureOutdoors some of those older cameras had better CMOS and lenses. Even if the pixel size isn't 50mp. I have an older (2013) NiIkon CoolPix L820 that is only 16mp but will shoot RAW format and the lens is nice.

O balanceamento de solo que ele possui, será mais adequado para as áreas que eu pretendo pesquisar. O meu intuito não será a praia, mas a caçada de relíquias. Quanto o canal do Magnus, ele é referência segura pra mim. Tô sempre trocando uma ideia com ele. Muito bom!

On this normal find-x as far as I know it's not compatible because the pin connectors are different, the Find-x Pro MIGHT be a different story. 🤞

It's not that the FindX is better it's that your mind is open to investigating signals you normally wouldn't dig on those machines youalready "know".

I’m not getting any sound from this video at all. I’ve done my phone updates, changed all passwords that were compromised and even listened to other videos on KZbin. Yours is totally silent. I can’t watch a silent film. Sorry Austin. All I get is a little bit of music and nature scenes and all of your detecting is in silent mode. Weird.

At the end of the day it's $150 and won't be for a lot of us who already own a detector.. but I would rather someone just getting into the hobby get one of these than a super cheap digital off brand amazon detector that will likely drive them nuts and make them quit the first couple days lol.
