This is a great video but if you use single frequency at old colonial home sites you miss coins if iron is near because you cant use iron filter in single frequency and if Iron is near a coin it will be missed

So if you’re hunting like I do, usually for old coins, jewelry and relics at trashy old homesites, would you use park multi 3 or beach wet? Both seem to do better than field.

Thank you for sharing. I just got my legend which is my first detector so some of the video was a bit over my head but I’m digging that foil! I’m hunting the beach….still trying to figure out if I need to be in Wet mode in damp sand….it’s so quiet I almost get nothing. Dry I hear more and at least know it’s on. Any pointers? Thank you!

Usually there are more trash targets in the dry sand, so you’re going to hear more targets than in the wet sand. The further you go out towards the water, the less targets you’ll hear. There’s less trash in the water, so I usually dig everything I hear when I’m water hunting. If you feel something is not right when you are swinging on the wet sand, throw a few coins or a ring down and swing over it, to know for certain. I have the Legend and it works just as good as my Equinox 600.

Thank you for your tips. I have carried a few coins in my pocket and thrown them down to check. I keep telling myself it’s off season so that’s why I’m not finding anything. Even in the dry…2 targets in 2 hours. Less than I expected. I don’t mind digging the trash…just want to dig something! Thanks again.

I know you don’t do much beach hunting at all, because you’re so far from the ocean and as you say the waters cold, so not many people go swimming at it. But I am 99% a beach, hunter here in Florida, and I was wondering what you thought about using 15 kHz on the beach as opposed to using modifications of the beach programs on the Legend, or with the Deus2. Also, can you test the bottle cap discriminator function on the new legend update and let us know what you think of it.? Very good video! 👍

The beach programs will probably work better on the beach than 15khz because they can handle the conductive salt/sand better. Multi frequencies usually work better in the sand than single. I did post a legend bottlecap reject video test a few minutes ago.

Multi on the Legend just isn't really up to par honestly. Other machines perform much better in multi BUT.........they're also in a whole different price range and they aren't overwhelmingly better.

Hey streak, if the multi hits the coin under foil as well as singles, then when you hit other conductive types, would it do better there too? It seems you hit it it with M3 in park too. So with the update, do you like single or multi?

I still like the single because it is more stable in my soil and fast swing speed.

the speech of the single frequency that performs better is valid on all metal detectors on the market except on the deus 2 can you tell me why? the deus 2 in multi frequency performs better is much deeper and even separates much better in the garbage than in single frequency

It helped a lot. Single frequency still outperforms multi in trash situations. M3 doing much better on masked targets.

If you are going to hunt land targets only, you don't need a multi-frequency detector. Why not just use your Anfibio?

My arm would fall off if I swung the Anfibio this fast. The Anfibio is a tank and has a very slow processor.

Multi frequency will find more targets deeper than a single frequency. When you switch to single frequency you are being more specific as to what will be picked up well. At 20 or 40 KHz you will not go as deep on silver as you will with multi or a single low frequency like 4 KHz. But if you are in 4Khz and go over gold you may miss it.

@@donaldphelps536I found with the multi iq on the vanquish that it was more accurate on all target types in my soil compared to any of my single frequencies it’s even better on mid range targets then the gold kruzer
