As a recent father like yourself, with another on the way in 9 days, this video has the feels and hits fucking hard knowing I can't go back as often as I want. Guys, I've been a big fan of your content for a long time. Aside from the montage set to Guns and Money in Myrtle Beach, nothing from NLU has resonated with me more than this video. Forget the focus on the Old Course in reverse. This film is about the friends you meet along the way and the ways in which golf brings us together. It reminds me of my two visits to St. Andrews and the glorious Sunday spent roaming the OC by myself just soaking it in. It reminds me of the first time I walked onto Golf Pl and took in that famous view. It reminds me just how blessed I am. Thank you for making me smile today.

Was at St. Andrew’s Uni in the 1980’s, used to play the course backwards for one week a year. Some holes make much more sense that way (particularly the 12th where you can actually see the bunkers) Great video!

As a guy who didn’t get into golf until til college. I am not a golf architecture nerd. So, when I first found out what St. Andrews was. I didn’t really get the appeal. To me it just seemed like a field with some bunkers. Hard to really grasp what is fairway vs. green! This video really shines a light on why this place is so special. And why it’s more than just a golf course. It’s a place that holds many stories. A place that has brought strangers together from across the globe. Thank you NLU❤️

I played the Old Course in June. Was lucky enough to have a room at the Hotel that overlooked the 17 teebox on the top floor. I’d stand on the balcony trying to figure out the clockwise holes. It’s really amazing when you start making it out from hole to hole. Having played it counterclockwise, I can see the challenges, almost, in a way, reminds me of the New Course from a lines standpoint.
