I used a a company called Links Golf Scotland for my tee time at The Old Course and Jubilee. Would highly recommend them. Great customer service and lined up hotel stay and caddies. All we had to do was show up. I have only played The Old Course once but it felt like I was always meant to be there. Like this stretch of land encompasses my life's journey. I just felt an indescribable peace wash over me the whole time. There is really no place on earth like it.

This is incredible. Tv coverage gives me no clue of what it’s actually like to play, or why the fuck the course is so difficult or even an interesting challenge. I’ve even been to watch golf there and you don’t get anywhere near the experience of this - amazing stuff

Top tip by the way, they are staying in the University accommodation in the Summer Holidays - great value and great fun for a group, 5 of you get your own rooms with a shared sitting room for about £20 per night per person, with a student bar and refectory downstairs. Bargain !

The 4th option to play the old course is to know someone who is a member and can get on at any point during the day and yes my dad’s friend is a member of the old course. Btw the old course is £180 per person to play 1 round, I have played the old course, the bunkers are set up that way because the old course used to be played the opposite way

Strongly advise checking out Kevin Fogarty (scottishgolfexperience.com/). He was my caddie for 3 rounds at St. Andrews, made all the arrangements for our party's stay (including transportation and tee times) and got us on The Old (as singles) as a foursome!! Was an epic trip to say the least!
