OMG! I miss her 😢....huge...HUGE....in my lifetime.....generation. I remember the 1st time I heard her sing on the radio. Even at 14 KNEW she'd be a super star. She hadn't yet been dubbed the Queen of Soul....but I knew. When she came to the Jahrhundert Halle in Frankfurt 3 years later I was there. By then she had blown up BIG...everywhere. Sadly, that was my one and only time to see Ms. Aretha in concert and she did her title justice!

Every comment on here (up until now) is about somebody else besides Aretha. Are people deaf? This is Aretha Franklin, people. She recorded this mainly, I think, because her sister wrote it, but it's a great song. She poured her heart into it as she always does. When I first bought the album and listened to it all the way through, this was the song that blew me away, in addition to the songs I already knew. Lady Soul has a lot of hits on it. Talk about a good investment. I played this song to death. I'm so glad to see your reaction to it. She killed the song; you killed the reaction, friend. (I have doubts about anyone who can't appreciate this. Seriously.) Hang in there, you're doing great.
