And that Mikasa thing it seem alright to me in the Anime. Manga readers overhated that scene and exaggerated that it's really bad but it wasn't that bad

This anime made me understand that freedom is distinct from good or evil because only freedom is concrete. We can always try to interpret our actions through the personal lenses of good and evil, but at the same time, don't we all agree that freedom is a primary right? Eren's story is all the more tragic because we can easily identify with his story. We did not ask to be born, and yet here we are. When we are born, we cannot choose, and yet we must. But what do we owe to whom? We must actualize someone else's vision. And what about us? Can we be ourselves? It seems that we can and we must be ourselves, as long as we do not oppose propriety, but whose propriety? The propriety of them. When Eren justify his action by saying "Because i was born into this world", he is saying that he isn't the one to have make the choice of all of this chaos in the first place.. he is the consequence of other people choice. He ain't good, he ain't evil, he is just a man brought into this world and he deserve the same right to live then everybody and if someone even if this someone have good intentions say that he must live his life in a certain way, he won't because he is the same of everyone, just someone brought into this world. Where I do not find Eren selfish is because in his action, he knows he is condemning himself. Despite this, he continues to move forward, even if his plans cannot succeed, he will damn himself to go back in time over and over again because what he desires is not a possession, he does not want a better situation, he wants to create a new beginning. No matter if people must remember him as a monster or a savior, he will be the one who unites a world that was divided. He will be the one who gives everyone the possibility to be truly free or all be condemned together, without preference. And to achieve this ideal, Marley must be destroyed because they are the ones who condemn the future, over and over again, without leaving even a glimmer of hope for the inhabitants of the island of paradise. How can someone justify their own freedom by depriving someone who is not even born yet of theirs? And they say USA & Europe are the lands of freedoms.. yeah, yeah, remind me of someone

Insane AMV, thank you for doing this amazing edit. I have read tons of manga, and I think with AOT I have always felt like Eren was a special character. There are many people hating the story saying weak characterization, plot armor, etc. But I mean it, for me this character development is worth all the praise the show gets... Eren feels too real, and that's the reason why I find this story terrifying. Goosebumps at the end with the matching music and cutscenes about freedom. Keep it up!

My favourite character Jean Kirschtein: I like how he evolves from an arrogant and rude teen to one of the most mature characters in the entire show. No matter what act he puts up he cares very deeply for his friends, and whenever the going gets tough he sticks his neck out and rises to the challenge. He doesnt have ultra fighting skills nor titan powers, and i think that humbles him (in a similar fashion to Sokka in TLA) and for a character to learn humility to make him one of the coolest guys in the show is honestly inspiring. I also like his humour and his secret crush (think about it, Mikasa is someone who clearly cares very much about others, while Jeans facade is pretty much the opposite, so him liking Mikasa makes sense as it refers to his secret love for the group). I relate to him in ways i dont really with the others, and thats why hes my favourite character. Also this was an amazingly cool edit

I’m a little starstruck by how flexible and cohesive these edits are. Allowing important lines (including many that are easy to overlook) to play out in different but related contexts opens up so much space for connection. I’d never considered the questions “why are you crying?” and “in what way are you free?” in conjunction before- I hadn’t even given the first question much thought (there’s so much to unpack in it!!). And the transition from the illustration of Ymir meeting the “Devil of All Earth” to Zeke tossing Eren the baseball was so simple and clever that I had an audible reaction. Thanks for sharing!
