Theres a reason why wild animals shouldn't be fed. Guess what will happen to that crow when he does that with someone less inclined to treat him right. You're doing him a disservice.

mudemmeonick he won’t approach other people. He trusts us. He would’ve been eaten by a coyote when he couldn’t fly. We nursed him until he could fly and now he’s a wild crow that chooses to come back during the day. He never strays far from the backyard. His nest that he made is in our tree.

Many Corvids are able to distinguish between different human beings and have displayed different reactions to people they recognise, in this case it clearly likes him. Crows aren't that stupid so it will probably be ok and they usual still to one area anyway.
