Nomad MadMacs Bluefin Tuna Fishing Ensenada MX

In this episode, we're taking you on an exciting fishing adventure as we head to Ensenada to catch bluefin tuna using Nomad Mad Macs with the help of our amigos Captain Octavio and Alejandro with their SIMRAD.

Use an extra heavy big triple hook to make sure the bluefin dont get away and when they bite keep on going forward for about 30 seconds more before slowing down the boat.

We usually use a 10 yard mono and 5 yard leader with a 100 lbs line and we I dont know the name of the connection we we from mono to spectra

I catch these small bluefin on 40lb mono , no leader but about 100cm of 44lb single strand wire. Forget the treble hooks. Nomad lures are excellent but expensive. Their 65lb braid is the best I've used , real abrasion resistance and great casting in the lighter weights
