Thanks for the video. I don't have the symmetry icon available on my left side of tools I presume Nomad have moved it on a recent update. When I go to the symmetry symbol which is at the top right of my screen and I have either curve or path selected it says current tool ignores symmetry?

You are welcome, the symmetry has been moved from the left side panel. Once you use the tube tool, make sure you go to your scene and select it, it should be appear in orange before validation. Above you will find a new ribbon with some settings including mirror, to play with the mirror, go to the symmetry menu from the upper right side and you can set axis and clones. I hope this help ☺️

Thanks for the effort. I"m on “old’ 3D artist. Used to work with C4D for many many years and did some sculpting which just came up at the time. I stopped after 17 years. Now I bought a new I pad Pro and after I noticed nomad I was hooked again. So nice to be able to start sculpting again without the costs of Zbrush. Again, thanks for your clear vids and I hope you will continue this vids. I find them very useful. Thumbs up and enjoy the weekend.

Your comment is one of the reasons that motivate me to share and keep making these tutorials. I come from a 3D background as well, and Nomad Sculpt was a game-changer for me. As you mentioned, the cost is unreal compared to other packages, and the fact that you can work on the go is priceless. I have yet to develop my workflow there and soon use it as much as C4D, and 3ds Max to create scenes, not only sculpts. Next week will be a different tutorial style, and I hope you will find it inspiring and push you to maximise the use of the tool. Thank you for your kind words and your feedback. Happy to know that you are finding the videos helpful. More to come, hopefully. I love reading about my viewers, and your message confirmed your interest and engagement with the material. You made my weekend. I appreciate it!

Q Quantillion - You mention that it is possible to download MATCAPS and existing ALPHAS for NOMAD. I find it difficult to find material for NOMAD, though. Where do you recommend to download them?
@Quantillion3 жыл бұрын
Hello Sunshine, Thank you for your comment and question. For Matcaps, many free resources are available. Here is the one I use: github.com/nidorx/matcaps For Alphas, you can create them yourself. I have covered this in one of my video tutorials that focuses on Alphas. Here is a link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJynn4eZjLmMgNE However, if you are finding it hard, the best alphas you can get are paid packages. Here is from one artist I like: jrotools.com/ Just make sure you purchase ones that are image based and not only available for Zbrush. You can also web Image search them using your search engine. Be aware of copyrights if you are using them for paid projects. I hope this helps :)

Right on spot! I get the same feeling every time I use the sphere. It is either an illusion because of the mesh grid or it might be the camera lens angle. I compared it with the sphere in Blender and it looks the same haha so not sure what’s going on there 😂
