There's a lot of confusion about how to live as a new Nomad Capitalist.
Between all of the terms - "expat", "PT", "perpetual traveler", "immigrant investor", "digital nomad", etc. - it's hard to keep up and know exactly how to structure your life when going offshore.
For the first ever, Andrew is sharing the EXACT strategy for buying real estate, where to live, and how to arrange your life physically as a Nomad Capitalist.
0:48 Introduction to Living Overseas as a Nomad Capitalist
3:58 "Tier A" Homes
10:20 "Tier B" Homes
11:21 "Tier C" Homes
13:07 "Tier D" Homes
This is the strategy he's perfected after twelve years of traveling and deciding that AirBNBs and hotels are not only frequently disappointing, but a bad investment.
-------
ABOUT NOMAD CAPITALIST
Andrew Henderson is the world's most sought-after consultant on legal offshore tax reduction, investment immigration, and global citizenship. He works exclusively with six- and seven-figure entrepreneurs and investors who want to "go where they're treated best".
Work with Andrew: nomadcapitalist.com/apply/
Andrew has spent the last 11 years studying and personally implementing the Nomad Capitalist lifestyle, and has started offshore companies, opened offshore bank accounts, obtained multiple second passports, and purchased real estate in a total of 20 countries.
He has also spent years creating a behavior-based system that helps people get the results they want faster and with less resistance. Andrew believes that everyone can use offshore strategies to keep more of their own money, live a life of freedom, and grow their wealth faster.

I buy bases in 5 stars hotels so I could spend 45 days in each place in a year, renting them out for the rest of the time. By now I got Playa del Carmen, Batumi, Tulum and Bansko. Considering buying something in Panama, Johor or Batam, Antalia region and Dubai before I retire. Great job Andrew.

Interesting strategy. I've tended to think that ownership is a P.I.T.A. because each owned home must be maintained, secured, etc. How do you handle that in homes around the world? Have you ever returned to a home to find it not as you left it?

Good stuff Andrew, I'm also considering South America for residency/citizenship, the best overall deal appears to be Ecuador in terms of permanent residence after 2 years and citizenship 3 years later with hardly any required time spent there after a $40,000 investment in a bank account or real estate, their passport is one of the few which allows visa free travel to Russia, China and Turkey also and no tax on foreign income if you become a resident there, cheers.

I’ve never been to Ecuador, but from what I heard, you really need to spend like 9 months per year in the country until you get your citizenship? I’m not sure if you can just put in 40k and leave? I don’t know If they will actually check your days in the country ? What else have you heard about it ?

I spent some time in Sutomore, Montenegro a few summers ago and found the country to be rather pleasant and very beautiful (lovely mixture of sea and mountains). I have traveled quite a bit, not near as much as you, but I have found myself at a plateau and just tired of new beds and temporary places. I am not at a financial digital nomad phase yet it life so I am going back to the US to work for a while. I want to thank you for your videos, insight and all the footwork you have done to create this content. The next year or so while in the US, I am going to do more research and consider future options. I want a few small places in special locations that are beautiful and where I am treated well! All the best and I am happy to have found your channel.

Well said, Andrew. I agree that being able to knock down walls, put nails in the wall, redo the kitchen, etc are big reasons to want to own a home. Also, perhaps the value won't skyrocket (even ever), but if it's in a city center or the beach, and you ENJOY the location, that is absolutely a benefit, regardless of the monetary value. Does it improve your life? Does it make you feel good to spend time there? That's what the real question should be.

I lived the lifestyle you are talking about, courtesy of my father who took our family around the planet, so I can relate to the hotels, eating out everyday while on the road in different countries (mostly in Europe), and then finally settling in Greece for 7 1/2 years . . . a country I adore, love and respect. Especially the people. My trifecta is keeping my US citizenship (I'm retired Air Force) and living in Colorado owning a flight school (it's the scenery stupid!), owning a home in Greece (near an airport), and making friends in a place that reduces taxes on capital gains (Puerto Rico? Maybe?) . . . or some other country friendly to that prerequisite. I've done so much traveling having a home in two or three places appeals to me.

Andrew, this idea is completely unpractical. It sounds so cool and very romantic for someone who ...never tried it. I kept three places on three different continents travelling between them. After 4 years of doing it I finally said "enough" as keeping two households, maintaining all three of them paying three car insurances, property taxes (even tiny ones), electric bills, internet bills, etc. etc. was not really worth it. The only advantage of that was that after all that time I realized I liked one of them more than the others. I am totally with you Andrew about most of the things you say. But sometimes you over-do it. I have no doubt that in few years you will realize that living in those 3 places is not that great thing. You may shrink it to just 2 places or even only one. But great video anyway

I love your idea. I hope to get to that level. Getting second passport through my father’s country of birth which will allow me to purchase property in that country. That is step one. Malaysia is on my radar. I love Asia and Southeast Asia but seems like KL is a good location with proximity to everything. Would love to land in a location knowing I could stay in my own home, with my own things set up the way I want and ready to go. Great advice. Still deciding on a 3rd. I’ve always loved Europe but still have many more places to explore to define the right country. Like you said, you have to take into consideration their taxation laws including wealth tax.

Thank you as always for some stimulating thoughts. I have a problem with the trifecta concept when it comes to tax residence. If you want to be tax resident somewhere (I do, and I guess others may) then you typically need to be there for 183 days, ie half the year. This leads either to a lopsided trifecta (180+90+90) or perhaps a bifecta (183+182). I guess this can be worked out though.

Interesting video Andrew. My question for how long can you continue this lifestyle? in other words what are your options if you plan to start a family? in this case where is home?

I know I want Tokyo to be my 1st Trifecta, it actually is extremely affordable and safe, especially for someone with residency in the healthcare system despite the rumors. I think Dublin would be another great one since getting Irish citizenship as a dual citizen is easy having Irish Heritage and would be a great platform for investing in the entire European market. The United States would be a good 3rd base since I am an American Citizen and would be convenient. Due to the increasing dysfunction and unrest in the US, I would make it 3rd on my list of three.

Hey Andrew! Love your videos and your channel! But your musical intro theme song is a bit overwhelming on the ears compared to the info parts with just your voice. I find myself scrambling for the volume button to turn the music down when it kicks in with more than one of your videos. Thought you might want to know...
