Nice budget build with creativity thrown in. If he wants to add a few dollars to the build, add a "spout" to the top of the whale in the form of a roof vent. That will help some with the moisture problem.

I lived in South Korean in 2005 and 2006. My apartment building had a tiny beer bar/fried chicken place on the 1st floor with a nautical theme. Tiny, tiny bar with a little loft with enough seating for 4 or so people. Maybe 12 people max! This build brought back memories of delicious chicken and cold beer in that place!

What a great build, Howie. I actually really love how creatively and practically useful this build is. I’ll use some of what I see in your rig for my own carpentry adventures. From an aesthetics perspective, I love the blanket you have on your bed. Where did you purchase it? Is the same blanket still available? I’d love to get one.

Look up "Pendleton-style blankets". The real Pendletons are wool and wonderfully warm ($200+). The knockoffs tend to be mostly synthetic fleece ($20+).

I work at a Safeway Fuel Station here in Port Townsend, Washington. I rung HIM up for coffee early in the morning this was 2 days ago. I recognize that trailer as he's been around town for a few weeks. Curious though of how long it took to put of video

The cause of the trailer flopping around when something is in the closets, is due to improper weight distribution. The majority of weight in a trailer must be positioned between the two vehicle and the trailer wheels. Any weight behind the trailer wheels, makes the trailer unstable regardless of it's weight capacity. There are two possible solutions; 1) If Howie can shift enough of the weight of the trailer towards the tong of the trailer, he won't have an issue with something being in the closets provided that something is not so heavy it shifts the weight of the trailer behind the wheels. 2) If the wheels of the trailer can be shifted more to the back of the trailer and away from the tow vehicle.

What a fantastic build, really unique. I was looking at the clearance between the top of the tires and fender....looks a tad close. Does the tire hit or rub on the fenders when running down the road or hitting bumps?
