I really want to like this watch as my Granda worked at H&W and I like the nod to the shipyard with the rotor and even the yellow secondhand. I just can't understand why they couldn't make it more original with the same/better specs. As someone who already owns a Tudor BB58, I am not interested in a homage watch, and if I was, I'd get a San Martin. I would love to support a micro brand based in Belfast but they really need to come up with their own designs

Looks a nice watch for about £600, but sheesh £1k, what for???a CW trident is cheaper with an original design and 5 year warranty, and if you want the BB look, I agree go for a San Martin….

The ships propeller rotor is probably its main selling point. Its not a bad lookimg watch. Would'nt pay a grand though.

This has got to be the greatest watch review in horological history! 😂 I’m from Norn Iron and could be also classed as a chancer. Nomadic are 99% marketing, 1% Ali express. It’s not a homage, just a poor imitation. I was a sucker and bought one last year. Sold it and bought a Tudor Smiley for a few hundred more than the Marai. A Squale is similar price with history and unique design features. Anyway, loving your work and your honesty.

Mate, I am from Belfast. Nomadic are shysters and they are selling rebranded San Martin and charging you £1000 for the privilege of buying a modified Chinese clone!!

Its a gorgeous watch, thered a lot to like about it spec wise but it's just not original enough to justify that price. Theres a lot of 1000-1500 watches to choose from.

Yes. Not impressed. I may not get it as it's not for me anyway. Very generic looking, even if it's supposed to be an homage. And in reality a grand for an SW200 is overasking already. So there goes the potential attraction this could have. A shame, as they do seem to know how to make a watch. At half the price it might have a chance for some punters.
