The audio seems like it might be a bit adjusted to sound nicer to the ears. I could be wrong, but some of the voices seem especially muted and the cars certainly aren't as loud as I'd expect. It's beautiful either way.

Most likely because it's not the busy part of the city. You can see there aren't a lot of people and even less cars. If you've been wandering in Ginza for example, which is considered a busy part, you would have a completely opposite picture.

@@MidnightXAlchemy That's heavy tourist area with bunch of foreign visitors you know? and it's still much cleaner than any other big citites outside Japan and that's what all those millions of people who have been there saying for years. Even late night live streams in Shinjuku show the clean streets after a long all day all night party there. haven't you been watching tons of those videos now everywhere? and most importantly they even clean up such quite tiny mess before morning unlike other cities including where you live rn. Tokyo has had this long reputation in the West even dated back in Edo period that it's one of the cleanest cities in the world. Just look it up.

You don't see this in these video's but in my time in Tokyo in the busy area's there are groups of people who go around and pick up trash. Not sure if they are volunteers or what, but I'd often run across a group of 4 to 8 people that pick up trash in the city. There are very few trash cans as well from what I noticed, which makes it more surprising. Some of the lesser traveled back alleys though are a different story.

I have watched a lot of Japan walking videos and rain videos; and this is a masterpiece of the "genre". My favorite. The clear, high visual quality of the video, the gentle rain sounds on the umbrella, the distant sounds of thunder and city buzz, and the liminal, dawn/dust light is just superb. Watching this is like a pleasant dream. I feel like a spirit walking through Shinjuku; like in a Makoto Shinkai movie. Thank you.

The perfect placement of the eerily beautiful fogged mirror, the almost out of place yet in perfect place palm tree, the calming color palettes of the flowers, the black and white contrast, the shine of neon lights, and the slight feeling of introversion from the rain have made feel a sense of calm I haven’t felt in awhile. But maybe that will not happen because you and all people like you deeply jealous of Super Japan that was loved and praised from most people in the world while no one love or care or maybe even know nothing about your cesspool country. It is the user name @God that first bash Japan while me and other pray for the safety of Japan so it is natural for me to counter what that asshole is saying.I suggest that you stop coming to any videos about Japan if all you want to do is insult Japan and anyone who love Japan because no one will like it and they will think you are nothing more than a mentally retarded person who must not exist to begin with. You,your whore mom, your pimp dad and your stinking race can stay in your cesspool country forever no one want to go there.Your country is the cesspool while you and your nation are the feces.

Ahhh … no. I was cycling alot in Tokyo. On larger streets I was especially scared by Taxi drivers because when they see a customer at the streetside, they switch off their brains and are directly heading to them, sometimes instantly stopping on weird positions in traffic just to collect those customers. Me as a cyclist with some speed on the left lane I had to be aware of those unexpected situations the most or precisely was most scared by them.
