Their high oil content causes them to get rancid. The same with nut mixes, natural nug butters, etc. If you dont eat them very often keep stored in freezer. (Same with fried chips, taco shells. Although I've never let chips sit around that long. LOL)

Nuts last almost indefinitely (not really but you get my point) in the freezer! Oil on the nut is what makes it taste “spoiled”. I store all my nuts in the freezer. Love your channel!

Hail from storms is no joke. I got caught in a bad storm that had baseball sized hail. It destroyed my Ram track. Busted the windshield, broke my rain guards and dented my entire truck with millions of dents so badly, it was unrepairable. Insurance company deemed my truck totaled. I literally cried. I loved that truck so much. Seriously no friggen joke. Always take cover if possible.

Just a little tip. Taco shells tend to have a stale texture to them unless you bake them for a couple of minutes. It’s a game changer ❤️

Yes the birth certificate or previous passport goes to passports. They will send it back. You can use an old passport no matter how old to show citizenship. Even old military passport. You always get that item back

If you will keep your pecans, walnuts (any nuts) in the freezer they will last LONG past expiration date! One year my parents shelled pecans and I had a couple bags that I used for probably 3+ years. No bad flavor or mildew pecans or bad pecans! Has to be freezer can’t be refrigerator because condensation will form in the package!

You really make me miss FL. One place I recommend going is in Indialantic. They have a pier on the causeway to the Indian River that's so peaceful to relax and watch dolphins. I've seen Sting Rays there. It's peaceful to spend hours!

Okay, pausing at the Publix haul so I don't forget, but two things... My son asked for those Taki shells several months ago and then never wanted to try them once we were home. I ended up needing to use them before they expired, but I threw them in the freezer and eventually used them all up. I love them - LOL! I would warm the shell in my air-fryer or microwave and then crush it up for taco salads and rice bowls. I had the final shell last week with brown rice, black beans, sour cream, salsa, and romaine... OMGeee! So good! They offer just enough spice! 2nd - try Publix brand Greenwise Organic Vanilla Greek Yogurt... It's my fave! Been enjoying it recently with bananas and walnuts.

Maybe when you know a bad storm is coming you could get close to a self service car wash? That way you can be safe from the hail. I would love to stay for that storm also.
