The opening sunrise on the beach was just wonderful. So beautiful and peaceful. Meditating on the surf is so healing and rejuvenating. One of my favs is ground beef and rice. You can spice it however you like. Add some bean sprouts and soy sauce for Asian, stewed tomatoes and cheese for Italian or Mexican, so simple and delicious. Green chile and zucchini, chickpeas. Any combo.

Hi! My dad lived in the "Space Coast"🚀🛰 Cape Canaveral area, and you can tell if a viewing spot is good by the crowd. I think you were too far north. But there will be more launches. Try one of the smaller turn offs near Cocoa Beach or Melbourne Beach. Anywhere along that strip of A1A. Enjoy! Makes me miss Florida.

If you want to park in a less crowded beach area in Cocoa Beach, go to TAFT Avenue. At the end there are about 10 free parking spots. That area of the beach does not get as crowded as it does closer to the pier.
