Another wholesome video of your day. How do you find contracts for CT tech? Are you able to negotiate $$ and term? Do they include healthcare? Is it possible to stay in the hospital parking lot? Sorry for all the probing questions….you’re a very happy person.. I enjoy watching..

Great idea reaching out to people that rent out their homes/rooms to healthcare workers for a place to park your van! Rue looks so cute with her cone! Sure it’s easier on her & you for her to stay 3 nights with the doggie sitter!
@JenniferSmith-lu5cn Жыл бұрын
I'm actually about to do this too. As a traveling CST, I have spent a fortune on places to stay during contracts and I could of had my debt paid off by now. So I am waiting until spring in March to make my jeep, my new home.

Hi Sarah I loved seeing you in a day in the life of your life (KEEP IT UP ) and as far as you doing the bit with Rue I have to say I think you made the best over all choice for her and to do the best for you I do agree that you doing the 12 hr days with 4 days off works like a champ (Super star choice ) I did that when I was working my self as far as the parking situations go and filling the water I would Go to the Rest Rooms with a cup and fill the 1 gallon jug for drinking water and then the Water faucets that are out side the gas stations or car washes are usually pretty Easy to get access just have to ask to see if they let you fill their is a key to use and you just turn it back in when your done and trash can be dropped every where their is a trash bin

I think you're doing great, seems like a very easy job. I do 4, 10s, I love the 3 days off. Not traveling anything. I think it's pretty sweet thing you have going, but you light up when you mention home. So, pretty easy to see what part of life you're missing. Vacation mind all the time would be hard.

It was nice to get a glimpse into all the things you take into consideration as a solo traveler. I think Rue adds so much to your life and making decisions with her in mind is a large part of being a dog owner that those who aren't don't quite understand. Enjoy being home. Will look forward to seeing you whenever you post next. You don't owe YT anything. Go LIVE!

That was very interesting! Also I would so rent out my driveway and give access to my washer and dryer. Plus I have a fenced in yard and I could dog sit as well.. provided the dog got along with mine and my grandkids. Some thing to think about.

Kudos to you for sticking with your medical career. There is such a demand for any & all healthcare professionals. I decided to travel at the end of my career (4 + decades) in 2019, so I only got one full year in as a travel Histotechnologist. It was so difficult to make the decision to step away, but retirement is fabulous. I'm sure it's harder on you, than Roo at the sitter. She gets to play and make new friends. Enjoy your family and Roo over the holidays ~ Wanda (let us know if you need a place to park if working near Charleston,SC)

Hi Sarah, I am a house owner and use your housing finder , I have had many great people stay in my home and I have a twenty six foot driveway. What a GREAT idea. This may be an offline question/conversation but how did you click on the "driveways" you did? House, Room, Hotel are the options I see as a person offering housing/driveways. Would love to know more. If you are ever back in the Bay Area let me know, you are always welcome. I grew up in Upstate Western New York and love seeing you in that environment.

Hey, I've just been dealing with hot spots on my dog and coconut oil applied to the hot spots and then bathing once a week with Head and Shoulders shampoo has made real progress on them for my dog. Hot spots are a symptom of poor gut health, and/or external exposure causing dermatitis, so adding fermented foods (yogurt, fermented vegetable, kombucha) everyday to your dog's diet will definitely help also. Dinovite dog supplement also has a pre mix product of: kelp, flax, brewer's yeast, and fish oil you can add to dog's food ( I did a diy version of their recipe). Imagine suffering everyday all day with itchy skin... must be awful.
