Chabahar is located near to Pakistani borders and the people of both sides are Baloch, whose their native language is Balochi, but are also familiar with Persian and Urdu languages. The culture and traditions of people are also similar and their outlook and attire is closely related to Pakistani people. Since Pakistanis and especially North Indians have a considerable resemblance, they mistook you as Pakistani. Further, this is border area, which is affected by militancy, therefore, the ordinary people are very cautious and look foreigners with suspicion. Mr. Hussain, who is Sistani from Chabahar correctly described that this southern part of Iran is greatly different from other parts of Iran because people are bound to their culture, tradition and religion.
