There is one big reason I have not purchased the Grayle and it was because I didn't think it really improved the taste. So I have a question if I was to use it on nasty city water would it make it taste more pure like my well water?

The city water I put through mine in Richmond VA did have an improved taste

With that water bottle, can you filter water and then add flavoring to it? Or would it hurt the filter?!?

You can 100% add flavor drink mixes to it after you've filtered the dirty water through the filter, I do it all the time.

Flavoring after the filtation sequence, sure. They are seperate chambers

They make a one way silicone valve that fits down inside the filter now that won’t let the flavoring or anything added after filtering back flow into the filter
