Wow. I am utterly speechless. Most people would call her a 'little girl' (of course, she's not; she's a young woman) and yet this 'little girl' just gave the very best performance I've ever heard of this concerto. The nearly flawless performance of the technically difficult concerto is eclipsed by the incredible humanity and sensitivity she pours into a concerto which seems to naturally tend toward being rushed and bangy. The level of musicianship she shows here eclipses many, even most, established performers. I expect we will hear of this young woman again and soon; "how is she not famous already?" Keep playing!
