This is a great video concept, I think it would also be cool to see a casual celeste player (who has only beaten 7a or something) or someone who has played the game but doesn't know about any of the crazy mechanics like superdashes or subpixels try to guess which rooms are the hardest to see how much better they could do :)

I’d guess they won’t do much better. I myself am a casual player who started playing a week ago. 24 hours of play time and trying to beat b sides for unlocking the gate in chapter 9. I followed along the video and my guesses and thinking process were pretty much the same as shown in the video (except for 2k-3, as I had watched parrot’s video before).

I clicked on this video expecting screens from the base game. I was wrong. I imagine a lot of the lower-ranking screens are really learny, but once you figure out how they work, they get a lot easier. The one with all the moving objects is probably at the top of these ones because of the moving objects. Chapter 3 is dumb. The #2 level looks hard because of how long it is. (Not that #6 looks easy - the short length seems like it would allow for far more precise timings without it being flat-out impossible.) Having to do all those advanced techniques with the addition of nerve control looks really hard.
