Even Goku and Vegeta can regenerate at this point! The Super Saiyan transformations amplify biological traits, including zenkai which has the side effect of slightly accelerated healing. Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan blue use God ki, so the healing process is amplified to a godly level! It's insane! They're not gonna be regrowing limbs anytime soon, but still.

Cooler could have won if he just killed Goku and Vegeta, or what he could have done was decapitate their limbs just leaving the head, so he could absorb the rest of their energy without interference. Even if they still managed to overload the BIg Gete Star with energy, they wouldnt be able to do anything after that and Cooler could have still gotten the dub by just finishing them off. Unfortunately he didnt realize Goku and Vegeta were still the main characters despite it being Cooler's movie 🤷‍♂
