The differences between the Essence and the Energies of God is also a cornerstone in Palamite-Orthodox theology of Eastern Christianity. Very interesting metaphors on that regard.

Dear Sri Acharyaji: Based on this presentation and your book on Radical Universalism, I would suggest you consider being interviewed on Batgap, which is guaranteed to get you at least 15,000 views by spiritually-inclined people. You might also want to appear at the SAND conference. The reason I think this is that none of the people speaking today about non-dualism have actually read anything about it, such as you have. I think your knowledge in this area would help raise the level of discussion in both venues, which is desperately needed. Non-dualism has become the sine qua non of spiritual discourse these days, and yet no one distinguishes between absolute nonduality and non-duality with qualities. If you could show the difficulties with both, it would be something no one else has done. In the upwards of 350 Batgap interviews, I have seen no high-level discussion of this subject. I would say Shankara is considered the gold standard on the subject, though generally people simply make reference to non-duality without hesitating to define it. It has become a philosophical term which is left open to whatever one wishes to think about it, supported by the general idea that there is always something unintelligible and which cannot be understood until one truly sees it. That may be true; however, the way it is talked about, people don't seem to realize how vague the term is and how much clarity can be gained by making these distinctions. I need you to do for non-dualism what David Godman did for Ramana Maharshi, whose teaching he has raised prominently by his articulate presentations. With Adyashanti, Eckhart Tolle, and so many others, speaking about non-duality, yours is the first presentation I have seen which goes back to the source and articulates this more academically and scholarly. I think you are missing your niche, one which is waiting there for someone with a philosophical background to come along and shed light upon; thus, I suggest these venues, which have large, educated audiences. I think you will find people very interested in what you have got to say and have written; as controversial as you are, and able to articulate what others cannot, I even think you will garner more like 50,000 views on Batgap. [Only problem, there is a six month wait to be on the show]. I wish you well.

Acharaya Ji can you kindly clarify the answer given regarding personality is what makes then act in evil fashion and not due to their Karma's as in one of your videos about protecting from the evil entities where you mention about Psychopaths and Sociopaths are under the influence of an evil entity. My question is that it's a projection of personality over another personality and here the one possessed looses their free will?

Unfortunately, Sri Acharyaji doesn't monitor this channel. It is run by his disciples. But we asked him about your question. His answer was that psychopaths/sociopaths freely submit their free will to evil entities. While such people still ultimately retain freedom of choice, they allow their free will to be highly curtailed by the evil entities. The example that Acharyaji gave is that it is similar to a drug addict who seems to have no choice but to take a drug. But a) it was his choice to put himself in a position where his choice is now limited; b) ultimately, if he is strong enough, even a drug addict can choose to stop taking the drugs.

@@DharmaNation my homage to Sri Acharaya Ji and Namanskar to the disciples for taking my question to Sri Guru and asking on my behalf. The answer was like an approval of my understanding of it from the scriptures I have studied. This by far is the most authentic channel my Atman has come across that only talks about the greatness of Scriptures and teaching how to embody Dharma, and absolutely no talk about the greatness of Sri Guru about himself from his mouth. The Brahm, Parabrahm Darshan and the greatness of Narayan fills up my heart with joy. Kindly offer a Shastang Dandvat on my behalf at the Lotus Feet of Sri Guru

When I was 17 years old, I picked up the Upanishads, published by Penguin classics, opened to a page randomly, and read a few verses. In those verses the word BRAHMAN appeared almost as if emblazoned on the page. This word, intriguing, mysterious and powerful, produced a bodily feeling, as it were, an enveloping sensation, a subtle ineffable vibration. And on certain occasions since then I have done this again. Also with the Bhagavad-Gita, where Krishna speaks in the first person as the Supreme Brahman. I do not want to have a linear intellectual understanding of this infinite je ne sais quoi, not necessarily, or of the various aspects and schools of Vedanta, although this may be a bit interesting. I simply want to approach BRAHMAN in sadhana, and in contemplation, and at times the indescribable marvel that is Krishna, who describes himself as the Supreme Brahman with all the universe existing in his body. This endeavor promises an all fulfilling effulgence, or something, that yet remains elusive but irresistible. The rest is academic. Even an obstruction. Because the inner guru abides, it seems, hiding in Self.
