We have a Native Pecan tree, and sorry, but that machine just doesn't work well enough. I want Mostly Pecan halves when I shell our Pecans. I know it takes more time and effort, but the York Texan Pecan Shelling "Pliers" tool works perfectly. I can Shell a bowl full of our Native Pecans and have almost 100% whole haves when done. That machine and every other "cracker" I've ever seen you'll get maybe 15% halves and the rest smashed nuts. Heck their sight even says it's not for Native Pecans. When someone comes up with a machine that can crack / shell our native pecans ( not paper shells) that works like the York Texan shelling tool does, well then I'll get one of those. Until then, I've got to get crackin...

Thank you for watching and for your feedback. 😊 I like the halves for roasting and the small bits for toppings. I have found after using it a few times, that, while it doesn't take long to Crack a lot nuts, it takes longer to separate the shells from the nuts. I ended up buying a soil sifter that has different size holes in each one to help speed up the process. www.amazon.com/gp/your-account/order-history/item/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_pop?ie=UTF8&gen=canonical&itemId=mnkmmqqnlmrsun&orderId=114-9082149-3741802&packageId=1&returnSummaryId=&returnUnitIndices=&returnUnitMappingId=&shipmentId=UW2c1GT0L
