I'm not a game dev, I've never used a game engine before, but there's a first time for everything. I've been having a blast using Godot, so let's see what we can do with it. This time, I make a new enemy, as well as talk about the purpose that this game is trying to achieve. Join me as I continue my journey trying to learn how to make a game.

Wow! We must have started our game dev journeys around the same time. You've made so much progress in so little time! How in the world do you make such polished videos while learning and making games?!?

Thank you!! That's awesome about our game dev journeys, sounds like we're at about the same level! I love video editing as much as I love learning game dev, so this has been a win-win for me haha I appreciate that 🙏🙏

I love what you are doing-learning together with the community and sharing your progress. This is very good for you; you will learn faster. But what's most important is that you show people your journey's struggles. Because of that, potential future game devs won't feel inferior when they make mistakes. We all need to remember that we are just humans. I show how to create games using AI on my channel to focus on people who are not good at programming but would like to start their gem dev journey. Maybe you will find my approach useful and helpful in your journey. Good luck!

Thank you!! That's part of the reason why I started this channel, because I thought it would be interesting to show the many pitfalls that I run into while learning this for the first time. And there's definitely been many 😂

This is quite inspiring actually. You have come a long way learning and applying your knowledge. The unorganised files are satisfactory as they'll be organised as you keep learning. How about this idea, if the player choose higher difficulty, the enemies should get random buffs like double health, longer bluey, amount of bullet shooting enemies get faster. Maybe 1 in 30 enemies get buff. Buffs can be more frequent in higher waves or higher difficulties.

That's a really cool idea to add some variety in the enemies. I think Minecraft does something similar to that. Thanks for the idea, it's great to keep these things in mind for future projects as well 🙏

@@GreenLightDev ohh... Minecraft does it. Thought I was being original but, it still adds variety so atleast I helped a bit.😁
