I think people misinterpret Kratos a lot. They call him cold and unfeeling, but it's simply not true. Kratos wasn't telling his son to train after Fenrir's death because he felt nothing for their loss. He offered his son a distraction and an option to cope with the grief. Kratos knows grief and it has taken him literal sagas to learn how to process it. We are talking about a once mortal who sacrificed his life for power. A power that lead to him killing his first wife and child in a blind bloodlust rage. He destroyed the Greek pantheon in response to their manipulation and used vengeance as a means to cope with the loss. He has lost his second wife now and is still very protective of Atreus. He may not love in the same manner as others, but that doesn't mean he loves any less. Kratos is nothing but emotion.

​@@yusufabdoolla5919Yeah which makes the OG creators comments about the last 2 GOW games and Kratos' new arc making him soft and saying that the fan base doesn't care about his family dynamic and problems which couldn't be farther from the truth as many fans from the OG games had became adults and parents by this point and really connected with it which is exactly what Corey Barlog and his team started with GOW 4 as he had grown and matured and had became a parent himself and then the story was continued in Ragnarok and expanded greatly upon and telling a damn good story. Then at the same time telling other compelling stories with different characters and problems that all tie together with Kratos and Atreus' journey is just so good.

Jötnar were not giants. Ymir certainly was a giant due to his size but he was unique, and he wasn't technically a "Frost" giant as he looked just like a regular man, only way bigger. And while there are Frost and Fire versions, who resides in Niflheim and Muspellheim respectively, the vast majority of those living in Jotunnhein, are neither frost nor fire. Many people seem confused about the Jötnar, but they were not a different race, but a tribe, just like the Aesir and Vanir were tribes. And they were generally human-looking. although several were hideous and troll-like. They also were generally the same size as men, but were beings of chaos, essentially making them gods of chaos. Basically the Jötnar were chaos forces (storms, forest fires, blizards, landslides, floods, etc.) so they came in many versions. Fire, Frost, Sea, Storm, etc. A few did grow to gigantic size, but they were generally born at regular size, but would grow at a fast rate to reach their size, and some were in the shape of animals, like Fenris, Garm and Jörmungandr, or be only part animal. Some even had mutliple of these traits so they could be gigantic and in the shape of animals (Fenrir and Jörmungandr). The Jötnar are actually a lot more fascinating and interesting then simply "a race of giants".

The reason why baldur found the house in the first game was bcuz the tree that kratos chopped down at the start of the game was part of the protection stave , lol I just went back and play the the first game am I realize the hand print was on that tree from his wife faye… so many details in both game if u look hard enough lol.

you got it backward in GOW 2018 when they saw the prophecy on the wall at the end it was Kratos that saw the prophecy of his own death on the wall after Atreus walked away and Atreus did not see that pat till this game

That is correct. I just commented about that. Because it was some type of a sheet that was flapping in the wind and it covered the prophecy up and Atreus ran away but Kratos saw it. Just like when Thor came, this guy said to his wife that either the gamers wanted us to know what we would be expecting in this game or Kratos foreseen this happening. Again..... he's wrong (smh)!!! It was "Atreus" who had the dream because he told Kratos about it when they woke up about how it felt so real and that Thor came to pay them a visit. It's nothing wrong with him going over this wit his wife but if you're going to do that, along wit putting it up on YT, at least, do your homework about it because he's off on what he's talking about. You're the first person that I seen pick up on that; him saying Atreus seen Kratos death and it was Kratos who seen his own death.

Atreus had a vision in 2018s god of war it at the end when the get home and lay down that's when he had the vision of Thor showing up

Correct. He said Kratos foreseen this from the last game or that the gamers wanted us to expect what we would see in this game, smh. He's wrong on all levels. You're exactly right. Atreus had a dream about Thor showing up and he told Kratos about it the next day and how it felt so real and it was just a dream. Just like at the beginning, he said that Atreus saw the prophecy of Kratos death but he was wrong, again!!! Smh, lol. Kratos saw his own death because when Atreus was looking at the prophecies, it was a sheet that was flapping in the wind and when Atreus ran off, the sheet revealed Kratos dying but Atreus didn't see that. Kratos did. This guy don't know what the hell he's talking about, lol!!!

Kratos wasn't holding back as much as you thought. He wasn't Raging but he was giving Thor His Full Prowess. That's just how much Deal Thor is. Kratos would have to use his Rage just to even seriously hurt him. And that Rage is what he is refraining from or trying too

Kratos seen his death in God of war after they spread Loki mom ashes not atreus. He doesn't see it till later in ironwood. But kratos knows he is suppose to die that's why he is training Loki so much and so hard so that he can survive without his father.

More like 8 or so. Kratos is 7 ft tall himself, always has been since the very first GOW. I know for a fact because I remember reading about that as a kid. If you go to Santa Monica studios they have a life size Kratos statue…he’s like Lebron James sized lol EDIT: actually I see they changed it. Kratos was def 7ft in the old series but now he’s listed as like 6’4. That’s strange but w/e
