I definitely agree, I’m not even a fan of souls-likes which the level seems pretty inspired by and I had a lot of fun with it. Though I will say after you learn the patterns/tells of the bosses it feels like they have SO much hp it can be a bit of a slog at times

Quarion is actually a recreation of a real indie game (I don't remember the name). It's basically doing all the same, as the game, but adds some other stuff as well. GD Cologne recently made similar video, where he pointed this out

As the gd player with 5k+ hours, I TOTALY agree with him with first 3 places and few other places! 1) Astralith is in fact amazing level, I like it more than any other Mythic level at the moment, gameplay flows amazingly, and readible all the time. 2) About Ber Zer Ker, I originally didn't liked it that much as other levels, and I STILL think IN NCS contest this should've been placed at #2-3, but def not #1. I mean, theres litterally no block design in last parts. Lowest Great / High Solid 3) Next Cab Soon is cool, and it's better than Ber Zer Ker for me, but man, you cannot compare this to Astralith, the few quirks in it make it close to Astralith, but not enough. 4) I don't know, genuinly, I think platformers should'nt be compared to normal levels at all, but if I had to, I would've also put it in Meh or Solid, cuz the gameplay sometimes is SO annoying. 5) Quarion, Again, should be separated, but I still would put either in bottom FIRE or top of Great, mechanics are cool and almost 0 bugs. The gameplay is cool and flows, also there are actually a few easter eggs which I found hillarious. 6) I kinda agree, don't get me wrong, Rage Quit is still a masterpiece, but when you actually watched it like 8 times, the magic kinda dissapiers. It IS still Mythic, no doubt, but it can't compete to Astralith. Put in Great, higher than Ber Zer Ker 7) The Towerverse is cool opening of Mythic rates era, but still, it's not a doping for it. The gameplay is cool, but its TOOO long to feel comfortable playing it. Some parts are also boring due to them being basic? idk. The lack of boss is also makes it a bit worse. Cool lvl, but it's in Meh. 8) Had to watch a completion of it, but I'd say it's def in Great, Not quite amazing, but well done. Lower than Ber Zer Ker. The last boss is in fact kinda slow but amazing looking. 9) There are infinite reasons why WANNACRY should've been top 1-2, but the only reason I WILL put it in Great, is the gameplay, it's basically unplayable for a medium demon, I left over 500 attempts on it, when I litterally have 80 (basically 89%) on a freakin' top 120 level... Level has GREAT realisation and the character with "personality" if you would like to call it, and song IS FIRE, but man, as much as I like, I equally hate the gameplay. 10) That's another competitor for a top level, but the same reason as in Towerverse just kills it - Length of bossfights and 2nd is the opposite of it - it circles around bosses. It's really a technical masterpiece as the guy said, but it's in between Solid or Meh...

I agree with most things here except for Wannacry. I see everyone talking about how bad its gameplay is, and I just don’t really understand it? After a few practice runs, which I’ll admit were was a bit confusing, it wasn’t rlly that hard, 137 attempts total including practice, and it felt super cool to beat with the epic music and visuals. Honestly I hated the gameplay in Next Cab Soon so much more

9) My experience with WANNACRY is polar opposite: I beat it in 400 attempts, and rebeat in 33, but anything harder than Hard Demon seems out of my reach for now. A single practice of an insane demon will take me 150 attempts, no less

Honestly, I think Wannacry and Ber Zer Ker are overrated. I feel they would've been legendary if the NCS contest never happened, it's like Robtop felt obliged to rate a few levels mythic during the contest. Next Cab Soon is the only NCS level that actually deserves mythic.
